Commodore Guesthouse, Seaside Holiday Suites

This was our first stay at the Commodore Guesthouse and we loved it, it's just along the seafront from Rothesay ferry port, and our room had a big bay window which overlooked the water with beautiful views to the hills beyond, and a table and chair in the window to let you watch the ferry while drinking your morning coffee. Breakfast was a nice surprise, for the price we paid I just expected self catering accomodation, but we were given 3 fruit yogurts, a loaf of fresh bread, butter and jam, and milk. The living room had a mini kitchen with sink, cupboards with plates etc, and a kettle, microwave and toaster. The double bed was really comfy, I never usually get a good sleep away from home, but I did here. Andrea who runs the guest houses couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. My son slept on the sofa bed, he said it was comfy too. We had a key to the rooms and the outside door, so we could come back late and not disturb anyone. It was very quiet, I think the guesthouse was full but we didn't hear any noises from our room. The bathroom was clean and modern, the rooms were too. Really handy for the town centre, only 5 or so minutes, and the on street parking was busy but not too bad, we got parked close by.

Almost nothing, we're awkward and wanted cereal for breakfast, we had lots of plates but just one bowl so we had breakfast in shifts :) But we could have asked for more!

Very friendly, cosy, with kitchenette available. Complimentary breakfast. No oven but airfryer worked for us very well. Beautiful view, parking by the hotel and totally close to the centre and ferry.

Comfortable suite, great views

Absolutely stunning views from the window. The host was so delightful and so friendly. So comfortable and cosy.
