"This was a "stop-off" to break our journey home form Scotland - it worked out fine."

The place was immaculate: decor & furnishings some of the best we have seen. Very comfortable room & very well appointed en-suite bathroom (nice to see a non-slip mat for the shower - you don't always find one). Good breakfast menu with generous portions. Great value.

A little bit too "rules driven" management style in this day & age. We coped but perhaps younger clients would be put off. Forget all the keys & install a smart card entry/exit system more in tune with today's technology - it will stop you worrying if the doors are shut.

Phil and Vanda were a fantastic team. They take such great care of their guests!! The room was tiny but very well equipped. Spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent, and they accommodated our dietary needs (vegetarian).

"Good choice for an overnight stay"

Very helpful host and check in was easy and fast. Our room faced a busy road, but late evening there was no noise to keep us awake. breakfast was tasty and the off street parking was very convenient.

Clean, clean, clean !!!! Breakfast was really good: plenty of choice and good quality sausages, poached eggs were perfectly done. Great coffee. Hosts were lovely.
