Brooklands 5 Star Guest House

It is an amazing property with every corner with a thoughtful decoration. The rooms have every single amenities you can imagine. It is a luxurious room really. Sue is great and she let us to cuddle with her dogs! They are so sweet. Breakfast very good with an excellent coffee (as a Brazilian person I take my coffee very seriously and hers was delicious! ). My Brazilian friends were very impressed too.

The only regret was staying only one night! Nothing to complain at all!

Location was great, lots of places to get lunch or dinner from within walking distance. Breakfast at the property was excellent. Nice to have coffee and tea making facilities in your room with extra treats like lollies and biscuits topped up each day. Extra special to have a small fridge in the room where we could keep a small bottle of milk for our cups of coffee and hot chocolate. It was really appreciated that the host, Sue, topped up our milk when it was getting low! We loved the church view from our room window!

Nothing we didn't like.

Breakfast was lovely, especially the sausage. We sat in the window looking out with the sun shining in on us lovely

Shower was a little week for our liking but that’s all

Sue was very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Good selection of both continental and traditional hot breakfast items. She was aware it was my birthday on the 2nd evening I stayed there and even decorated my room and provided bottles of beer in the fridge in my room :)

We stayed in the Bassenthwaite Suite, which was more than ample for our needs. Our host Sue couldn't have been more helpful. The breakfast was also superb.
