La ubicación es excelente una de las mejores de la isla la verdad y la comida está buenísima probamos algunos restaurantes de isla y en realidad volvíamos siempre a este por que tiene muy buenos cocinero y camareros muy buenos hablan inglés y realmente está muy bueno lo recomiendo 100%

Le falta un poco de detalle a la habitación que si lo mejoraran podrían subir un poco el precio o en realidad el servicio sería mucho mejor por que los baños los tienen un poco descuidados y no se pueden ni cerrar pero después de eso todo está muy bien las vistas el lago todo

Lovely spot, beautiful view to wake up to on the lake. Clean room, super friendly staff. Ferry drops you off just down from the Homestay, and will come pick you up from there too if requested.

Room with a wonderful lake view from a spacious balcony. Large room with wooden floor and furniture. I loved the balcony for morning yoga with the lake view. The owners are a lovely couple who make sure your expectations are met. Central location with lots of live music, place to rent kayak etc.

Music was a bit loud (as rooms are close) and they played till midnight both nights. However I must admit both bands (rock + mellow) and singers were amazing :-) We loved most of their songs! I would advise the owners to review their drivers as the two drivers provided - didn't take us to the places we wanted to visit around lake Toba and we only had one day.

We originally planned to stay at Laster Jony’s for one week, but ended up staying two full weeks – and honestly, we could have stayed even longer. This place truly stole our hearts. The owners are the kindest, warmest people, and they even speak a little Finnish, which made us feel instantly at home. The atmosphere is relaxed, peaceful, and full of good vibes. The location is absolutely stunning: you can step straight from your room into the beautiful waters of Lake Toba. Swimming is recommended for ultimate relaxation. Their upstairs restaurant serves amazing, diverse, and delicious food, and we found ourselves eating there almost daily. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and perfect for backpackers, with everything you need for a longer stay. And then there is Kitty, their adorable cat – quite possibly the sweetest cat in the world. She slept next to us at night and joined us for daytime naps, filling the days with extra joy. Please give her lots of love and treats 🐾 Thank you for everything, dear friends. Kiitos kaverit! 💛 We will carry this place in our hearts and hope to return one day.

We loved everything.

I was first given a room with a direct access to the "beach". Its comfort was very simple, probably enough for my needs and budget as a solo traveler, but I quickly found it not soundproofed, especially from the neighbors above. In other words it was a quite noisy. I complained to the staff and they agreed to upgrade my room to a more comfortable one, one floor above, with a balcony and still a view on the lake.

On weekends, there is some pretty loud music played in the vicinity that echoes through the small gulf. There's also some live music played at the bar/restaurant of the property. If you're looking for a quiet place, it might turn you off. Earplugs are necessary if like me you're a light sleeper...
