Very basic accommodation A bit more care and maybe a new paint job could improve the place a lot.

FOOD WAS INCREDIBLE

My room was right by the water with a beautiful view of the lake. The food was fantastic – from breakfast to dinner, everything was delicious, I ended up eating there everytime. The staff is super friendly, helpful, musical, and incredibly fun to be around. I felt welcome, safe, and completely at ease here. I’d definitely come back if I visit Lake Toba again!

If I have to mention something. The stairs to get to and from the accommodation are quite steep, a good exercise for your legs though! You can sometimes hear your neighbors, but that seems to be the case almost everywhere in Indonesia. Still, it didn’t take away from how much I enjoyed my stay.

Man muss die Zimmerbeschreibung richtig lesen. Mein Zimmer (Nr. 6) hatte im Bad weder Waschbecken noch Spiegel, was mir dann doch gefehlt hat. Die Toilette hatte keine eigene Spülung, mit Duschbrause und/oder Bottich wurde gespült, was oft nicht genug Druck zum Runterspülen erzeugte und auch viel Wasser verbraucht. Das Zimmer war extrem hellhörig, wen abends Musik aus dem Restaurant oder sich unterhaltende Zimmernachbarn stört, wird hier nicht glücklich. Außerdem zog durch die Balkontüre Zigarettenrauch von Zimmernachbarn unter/neben einem rein. Falls jemand nicht so gut zu Fuß ist: Die Treppe ist sehr steil. Die einzige Steckdose ist an einer der Schrägen angebracht; Adapter mit Stecker war dafür zu schwer und viel dank Schwerkraft immer raus.

There is no facility at all for the tourist, the way to reach out to the room is very scary & stairs very steep, very much difficult for senior citizen. Which booking.com must mention, as a senior women i don’t know the actual environment so i feel very much discomfortable & faces severe difficulties. If i fell down who will be responsible for that. Although toilets has no flash & door has no lock, all the toilets door open all the tine, which is very unhealthy & bad smells comes in the room. Being a genious level 3 loyalty customer i want reimbursement for my hazards & hassels.. In comparison to facility room tarif also very much high. No basic needs they provided at all
