The Elms Guest House Bristol

Handy location for our needs. Requirement was for bed and shower and the property was perfectly adequate.

The host was very friendly.

I could not sleep properly for two nights as the walls are very thin. I could hear the person next to me snoring the whole time. Also the property is very outdated and has a lot of cracks, mould, electric cords hanging down etc.

Own en suite. Nice and clean. Good staff member. TV.

On a busy main road

The shower was hot and the mattress was comfortable. It was within walking distance of some restaurants and the cricket ground.

The ceiling light that should have had 5 bulbs, only had 2 that worked. The bin in the bathroom still had previous guests rubbish. The towels were thin and very small. Mugs were not changed for clean ones. Decor was old, too much furniture in the room. Heavy curtains had to be kept closed as room faced the street so room was dingy.

affordable guesthouse in a charming house, everything was clean and as I expected. host is lovely. easily accessible with buses to and from city centre.

the mattress was a bit hard for me, but that is very much a subjective opinion

Very clean and super quiet despite being on a main road. Lovely stay
