Hotel Vida Bella

Better was a super sweet host and very helpful. The house was very clean. My room was cleaned daily. Sweet traditional style home with big court yard and good location.

There were strange rules. We were locked in at 1030? Until they opened up at about 7. Yvette was helpful with this if I wanted to leave earlier but this didn't feel great to me as she had to come and unlock. The breakfast was pretty bad. A bacon and ham sandwich, coffee was bad. The worst thing was construction on their roof next to my room at 9pm at night. It stopped only after I asked at 915. My room had no windows

I have been extorted and taken hostage by a "cartel" in this hotel. I have been sequestered and my family was called and asked for money or I would be killed. The FBI, and anti-kidnapping division was called and on the move to save me. The problem is that someone has leaked my information. But it is difficult to know who has in the first place. The Mexican scammers do not realize that, even though they might have acted on their own behalf without the hotel knowledge, we can't rule out for sure the hotel involvement. Which in the end, the hotel itself will be losing business since I have strong doubt you would want to take the chance to be killed in this place.

The host Lucy made our stay very nice. The first night our bed was not great so she moved us to another room. Then we couldn't figure out the hot water...she was right on it. The house staff made awesome breakfast!

It is a quaint Mexican house with about 9 rooms to rent, nicely renovated. Staff were lovely and it has a beautiful.courtyars. great location for exploring the town of Chapala.

The bed was small a little firm and noisy when you moved.

The breakfast was excellent! I only wish there had been Americano coffee.

The staff was great, everyone very helpful, very friendly, excellent service special from Lucy, she maid my stay a more comfortable one, I would recommend your business only because of the great team she has.

The only issues I faced was that the bedroom was very cold, I woke up every single time freezing, I would recommend for future guests to leave a small heater for them to used if they are staying in the winter time like I did, as we go for vacation and to rest. The other issue I had was your unit that had the cold and hot water, In the two weeks I was there the unit never supplied me with hot water, I’m the type of person that I like to drink my coffee at 5:00 AM. I had to wait till the kitchen door was open, they open at 9:00 AM. To me that was inconvenience, plus the unit never got fix in the two weeks I was there.
