Hassop Station rooms on the Monsal Trail

Clean, comfy room and bathroom. We appreciated the coffee and tea and biscuits in the room also. Just be aware that if you stay in the ground floor room, other visitors can see in through the windows! Breakfast was included and this was excellent. The cafe staff were amazing and so friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Got our day off to a great start, thank you.

Nothing really, just perhaps a note about the ground floor room (2) being a bit of a goldfish bowl!

The location and the park

It has a smell of urine / musty smell Spiders in bathroom 6 Dead Bumble bee on stairs and lots of dirt ok stairs Things didn’t feel or look clean Loud doors slamming Windows need better sound proofing and curtains. Second floor with a toddler and bathroom across the hall wasn’t ideal 9am breakfast time when I had mentioned I was doing the cancer research walk so we didn’t get breakfast Gate lock doesn’t work for car park we tried several times it would not open We managed with difficulty to park down the side as all spaces had gone.

Did not like that the bathroom was not en-suite and whilst private for our room could only be accessed by way of a communal hallway. Unable to adjust heating in bathroom which was on the cool side. With our room only criticism being that the duvet was very heavy

Die Hassop Station ist eine große Anlage mit einem Café Restaurant, das auch das Frühstück bereit stellt, und einem viel frequentiertem Parkplatz. Positiv ist das Bett zu erwähnen, in dem wir sehr gut gelegen sind.

Unser Zimmerfenster ging auf einen viel befahrenen Kreisverkehr und zudem schließen die Zimmertüren sehr laut, weshalb die Nachtruhe beeinträchtigt war. Das Badezimmer ist über den Flur, aber dem Zimmer exklusiv zugeordnet. Allerdings schien es seit den vorigen Gästen nicht gesäubert worden zu sein. Und der große Parkplatz schließt um 17.15 Uhr die Tore, weshalb man entweder nicht mehr weg kann oder sonst beim Zurückkommen kaum das Auto abstellen kann.

Missing a mirror

The location was ideal for walking and travelling. The food in the cafe was also fresh and tasty.
