Comfortable and warm. Generous sized room

The bathroom was across the shared hallway which made it a little awkward to use late at night .Nice to have a breakfast included bu5 unfortunately only available after 9 am, we would have preferred to eat earlier

Location excellent room a great size and comfortable

Wet towels were left in the bathroom from a previous occupant , but excellent place to stay

Excellent breakfast, comfortable and spacious room, clear instructions for check-in. Really enjoyed my stay and will be back hopefully!

Not enough tea n coffee facilities

Lovely location. Traditional building with lovely decor. Breakfast was fantastic.

Our doors were a bit squeaky. Room 2 and as it’s not en suite could have been a bit annoying for next door. Nothing a bit of WD40 wouldn’t solve. We had a lovely stay and would stay here again.

The accommodation was lovely, big clean rooms and with kettle/tea/coffee! There was parking and WiFi.

It was a bit too far from Bakewell than what we thought when and no facilities open after 1700. We could not connect the tv to WiFi in our room which was disappointing.

Nice area. Cafe staff were friendly . Rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice outdoor seating area. Good having a fridge in the room. Room was nice and large

Nice location in general but rooms close to a noisy roundabout. Breakfast good but could have been a bit hotter. Big heavy doors on the rooms and there was a lot of noise from doors slamming shut during the day.

The place was perfect. I was travelling up for my first ultra marathon so wanted somewhere a little bit special. It did not disappoint.

Fabulous location and well appointed property.

Everything was great but it was let down by our discovering some previous guests had used the bedside drawers as a waste bin leaving empty crisp packets (and crisps), empty water bottles, and fast food waste in there. This not only begs the question who would do that (there’s a perfectly functional bin in the room), but also calls into question the cleaning regime.
