the breakfast was home cooked and very basic. Location the next to farmland adds to the charm of the place for a city dweller like me. Plenty of birds around and that the owner was a polite expert on birds really added to the experience.

The electricity broke down a couple of times ... the top floor was on a battery connection. I always question the cleanliness of sheets and beds in a homestay and this stayed on the back of my mind all the time. We were made to change rooms... it all added it to be a just ok stay.... we managed

This is a beautiful location close to Keoladeo NP. The brothers who own the property really ensured we were looked after. They arranged taxis to Fatehpur Sikir, Keoladeo NP and to temples in Bharatpur. The food was outstanding and freshly cooked dishes.My wife is a vegetarian and we both lovely the aubergine curry cooked over the fire with mustard oil. Great Aircon, nice clean room with a balcony to sit out in overlooking farmland. We loved watching the birds in the trees and there garden area.

My father and I had an excellent stay at this guesthouse. It is conveniently close to the bird sanctuary and outside of the city, but with easy auto/taxi access to the centre. The staff were very friendly, proactive and helpful. All food was good. The room + terrace were excellent and spacious.

Fantastic peaceful homestay, where we enjoyed 2 nights welcomed by the 3 brothers. The rooms are huge, very comfy beds and good water pressure in the shower, the private balcony areas are very relaxing to listen and watch the birds….you hardly need to go to the park they’re all around the house! Chandra is an exceptional home style chef, his food is absolutely delicious and portion sizes never leave you hungry! They also make the best Masala Chai, a steaming hot mug is the perfect start to the day watching the sunrise on the balcony, before a day at the Bird Sanctuary. They helped with arranging tuktuk to the bird park, taxi to Fatehpur Sikri & Agra, laundry was also turned round in a few hours for a very reasonable Rs300. We were very honoured to meet Ratan Singh one evening, he’s a very knowledgable man, with a calm presence. Communication with Mukesh via WhatsApp was friendly and helpful prior to our stay. This place is very quiet and close to the Keoladeo Park, 7 minutes away by tuk-tuk. There are birds all around. The family that runs the Ibis House is efficient and friendly. Home made food is delicious. The lodge is a meeting place for Indian nature lovers.

They gave complimentary breakfast and dinner to my driver and a mattress to sleep on - it was very generous
