Nilowin Glenanore Guesthouse

We had an amazing 2 nights here in the deluxe family room. The views are incredible from the room and the balcony. All of the food was delicious and we really enjoyed the cooking class too. Everyone at the guesthouse was so helpful and friendly, gave us great recommendations for things to do nearby, and arranged a driver for us to our next stay. Would recommend to anyone and we wish we could have stayed longer!

No lunch available when we were there but we really enjoyed roti and curry from a street food place nearby and it’s also only a short tuktuk ride into Haputale where there are lots of options.

L'accueil de la famille de Saman est extraordinaire. Arrivés tardivement, ils nous ont préparé un plat du soir. nous avons la suite familiale de luxe, chambre récente, très grande et lumineuse avec vue incroyable sur la montagne. magnifique terrasse. le catering est fantastique. ils cuisinent devant vous et proposent des cours de cuisine de très bonne qualité dans un cadre authentique. les meilleurs petits déjeuners du voyage. Saman nous a très bien conseillé pour les randonnées et activités autour d'Haputale. Une très bonne adresse et coup de cœur de notre séjour.

Nous avons séjourné une seule nuit avec nos deux enfants dans la chambre familiale et c’était incroyable ! Nous aurions aimé rester plus longtemps ! Le personnel est absolument adorable, la cuisine délicieuse et le cadre : au milieu des plantations. Nous avons également fait le cours de cuisine et nous nous sommes régalés : nous avons appris plein de choses et les cuisiniers étaient d’une gentillesse incroyable.

On a tout aimé ici. Les gérants sont tout à fait charmants, très aidants et aux petits soins. Le cours de cuisine est à faire absolument, dans leur "dream kitchen" comme il dit. Un endroit magnifique où la vie de famille se mêle aux touristes. Le petit déjeuner est de loin le meilleur que nous ayons mangé durant notre séjour. La Guesthouse est située un peu loin du centre mais à proximité du Thomas's seat (vue exceptionnelle au lever et au coucher du soleil) et d'un monastère chrétien qui vaut le détour. La vue de la chambre est superbe et les ceuilleuses de thé peuvent être juste en face certains jours. Ce sera clairement notre coup de cœur du voyage. Merci pour tout.

Great views, large room. Excellent dinner and breakfast (extra charge) Owner very helpful about things to do in the local area. We stayed 2 nights, wished it was 3 so had time to explore more locally and to the cookery course.

A great little guest house with an even more amazing host! All the staff go above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble! The food is something else. Breakfast and dinner are served in a beautiful oasis of a restaurant and is just delicious! We took part in the cooking class which is a must! So much fun and lots of great dishes to try.

We liked everything! Saman arranged a great tuk tuk trip to Lipton’s Seat and our transportation to our next destination, both first rate.

We loved the view from our room. It was exactly like the photo. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and it was very tasty. My partner did get a bit unwell from the spiceness of dinner so be mindful of this if you can't handle spicy food. They also have a cooking class, which we didn't do but looked great. Perfect location to see all the major sights in the area. There is also a lovely view of some tea plants.

There was a bit of construction noise on the property starting around 9am and the walk down to the restaurant can be slippery as it is outside down some steps and a few ramps.

사장님과 직원이 엄청 친절하고 편안하게 대해줘요. 밤에 불끄고 야경을 한번 보세요. 감탄 나와요. 제가 묵었던방은 조금 낡았지만 정말 깨끗했고, 방에서 멋진 일출을 볼 수 있었어요. 2면이 유리창으로 이어져있어서 멋지더라고요. 영어 잘 못해도 쿠킹클래스 쉽게 설명해줘서 같이 참여한 분들과 즐거웠고요. 아침식사 드셔보세요. 남자사장님이 요섹남입니다. 에그호퍼 맛있게 잘 해주시네요. 아디샴 방갈로랑 근처 차밭 산책나가기 너무 좋습니다. 또 묵고 싶네요.
