Het prachtige uitzicht en de enorme gastvrijheid en behulpzaamheid van de eigenaar en het personeel. De comfortabele kamer met een goed bed. Het enorm lekkere en uitgebreide ontbijt.

Dat het na 2 mooie dagen slecht weer werd. We zaten volledig in de wolken. Maar hier kon de eigenaar niets aan doen.

Grosszügige Gastgeber Schön gelegen Überaus freundlich superfeines Essen, was nicht wunderlich ist! weil im Haus auch die von Familienmitgliedern geführte Kochschule ist!

The hosts are super nice, breakfast and dinner were amazing. If the weather‘s good you have a great view over the mountains. The house lies on stage 12 and 13 of the Pekoe trail, so it’s a good starting point for hikes.

Heel erg lekker gegeten en geslapen. Mooie uitzichten, vriendelijk personeel met veel kennis. Cooking class gedaan en door de theevelden gelopen. Ontbijt en diner zijn ook super! Kortom, een aanrader.

Alles was fijn en comfortabel.

Uitzicht is prachtig. Ligt dicht bij treinstation glenanore. Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en echt lekker. met sri lankan eten. De host heeft gratis tuktuk geregeld van en naar busstation van haputale. We deden ook de kookcursus (+\~ 20 eur pp). Was echt leuk om te doen. Engels is heel goed. Veel uitleg over de ingredienten en daarna krijg je de recepten. Wij waren met 8 dus er werden verschillende curries gemaakt.

Staying with Saman and his family was truly the most authentic experience of our entire trip to Sri Lanka! They have a remarkable gift for hospitality and immediately make you feel at home. The warmth and kindness they share are unforgettable. ​The breakfast is fantastic, a delicious and generous spread that is the perfect start to the day. The location of the property is also superb, nestled right in the middle of the tea plantations, offering a peaceful and beautiful setting. ​Saman and his family are all very lovely and super helpful, always willing to assist and share everything with you, from their culture to their knowledge of the area. Highly, highly recommended for an unforgettable stay!
