Host met us and was delightful. This is an alternate place that one will love or hate, and we loved it. The eclectic trailer+ stone additions is actually really nice in an inventive way. It's all there, just not in the way one might expect by motels. The surroundings are straight out of Pee Wee's playhouse meets Flintstones in a good way. We enjoyed sunset from the adjacent tower with longe chairs. Quiet and peaceful, and Marathon is right up the street for groceries. Great place for setting up for Big Bend- probably too far for commuting there.

The multi-level interior may be odd to use the bathroom at night. Maybe some outlets by the bed.

Very quaint peaceful cottage. Loved stargazing platform. If you like the ritz it's not for you but if you like adventure it is absolutely perfect! I would definitely stay there again!!

Maybe I didn't read well, but we where riding a motorcycle and didn't realize it had a dirt road path to the house. It is manageable but if isn't listed they should.

Séjour incroyable dans ce logement vraiment atypique et magnifique. On a eu l'impression d'être transportés comme dans un film ! Le cadre est superbe et l'architecture en pierre a un charme fou

Cabin was quirky and fun. Host was very nice. Was great to have a kitchen. Was very quiet and peaceful.

Driveway is pretty rough. Uneven flooring is difficult to get used to.

Very unique little cottage. Fabulous sunset views from the tower outside of our room. Well stocked kitchen and bathroom.

No regular coffee. It was roasted almond flavor which we did not care for.

Liebevoll eingerichtet, eher alternativ. Es hatte ein Cheminée und der Host Ingrid war superlieb. Spannende Geschichte, wie dieser Ort entstanden ist. Der Sternenhimmel ohne Lichtsmog war traumhaft.

Küche (Herdplatten) und Pfannen mussten zuerst mal gereinigt werden, bevor diese verwendet werden konnten. Ebenso der Elektro-Grill/ Toaster, welcher aufgrund der Verunreinigung bei Inbetriebnahme zuerst mal 15 Minuten wie verrückt rauchte…dann passte es. Wenn man selbst kocht, sind einem Sauberkeit in diesem Bereich wichtig! Bad und WC waren sauber 😊
