The Glen Mona Hotel

The hotel was good- remote and not the location I had initially thought I booked, however, it was lovely and a quiet retreat. Being on bikes was not an issue and the bus stop outside worked perfectly. The milk, tea and biscuits were a lovely addtion and really made it welcoming and helpful arriving on day 1. The owners were friendly and the rooms were lovely and cosy.

The place was so idyllic, lovely couple so accommodating there 4 dogs are so friendly and beautiful, tram stop is feet away from the property would highly recommend for a beautiful peaceful stay

Pub was totally closed week days, so 10 minute car journey for breakfast.

The outside entrance via stairs (14) in the dark & heavy rain. Poor lighting, then over wet lawn & .metal bridge, then split level interior. The text, before arriving said how to access. But due to broken hand the ability to use the stairs safely in the wet ridiculous. An indoor entry is a .must. even to protect luggage from the weather. To add insult to injury, there is no person at the hotel during the week. Nor ability to call. Finally getting an email response, stating " not suitable if you have mobility issues". However, wet weather, it is unsafe using the external only entrance. The room set up was very makepiece & kitch verging on shabby. We left after one night. Do not stay here

This place sets the standards that other places should aspire to be. It truly is so far above every other places.

Really clean room, super comfortable bed and excellent shower!

Was made to feel welcome. Lovely hotel in beautiful surroundings.

Loved the extra room and antique furniture plus king size bed in the bedroom.

Rickety stairs up to suite meant I couldn’t show the suite to my mum.
