The Glen Mona Hotel

The apartment was very clean and spacious .Set in a nice location.

The Room was totally suitable for 2 friyyends on cycling holiday. One bed and one comfy sofabed

Only two small things!.... The cups. We both thought they were too small to make a cup of tea in . A larger mug would have suited us better...and we would've used less tea bags

Very clean & great shower. Nicely decorated Public transport links very good but probably better to have a car when staying here. Had to get bus to Ramsey for breakfast

The quilt was strangely lumpy & bed not very comfortable, probably needs new mattress

Just great! A nice quiet spot in good condition.

TV was a bit small.

Very large spacious room, loved having the seating area too. Free WiFi, off road parking and very easy to access many local attractions. Super clean and tidy room with tea/coffee making facilities. Handy silent fridge stocked with milk too. Loved the decor and there was plenty of storage space to unpack your case into. Room was lovely and warm each night and there was a portable dehumidifier which also doubled as a fan for when it did get warmer. Quiet location, woke to the sound of the birds each morning.

Perhaps some plates/cutlery as standard in the room considering no meals are served in the pub. Or even a small microwave or something to heat up ready meals would be great. Although host did pop by at the earliest opportunity to ask if there was anything I needed and bowls were delivered up! It wasn't a problem for me but access to the property would be challenging for those less mobile as access is up some uneven stairs through the garden.

Beautiful, modern suite with a sea view. Tram stop just outside. We also received a very enthusiastic welcome by two gorgeous dogs!

On arrival, we were greeted with a curt ‘haven’t you read your email?’ (About self check in) from one of the owners who was in the garden. We hadn’t because I’d temporarily left my phone on the tram. We went in the pub for a drink, but it’s definitely a locals bar. Although most people including the barman were friendly, we felt like we were introducing on a private function as everybody else knew each other and were sat round the bar. The two dogs’ customer service skills were faultless!

We didn't get to view the pub as first day we were turned away for being 15 minutes early. Then when we returned in the evening the barman locked the door when we got out of our taxi, even though the pub was full of people. Bit disappointing considering we were paying visitors. One day we didn't have any electric in the room for a while, with no warning or explanation.
