Coconut Grove - Midigama

It was a wonderful stay. The family is really lovely and gave excellent reccomendations for food and for surfing lessons. The place is beautiful and green, and the rooms are very nicely designed. It's great waking up to the lovely light and birds. We had a wonderful time and hope to come back soon! The beach right across is also amazing to chill at, and it's less crowded then Weligam and Ahangama.

Calm and relaxing place just 3 minutes walk from the main road of Midigama. Everything was perfect, the hosts took good care of us and helped us with everything.

Lovely place with a beautiful garden. Just a short walk to all the beaches. Rooms are comfortable and clean and the hosts are really nice and helpful. Cute dogs and cats all around :)

Make sure to bring your anti-mosquito spray because there are lots at the end of the day

my favorite place in sri lanka! this beautiful family that owns this place are so nice, hepld me with everything I needed and made me feel like arrived home. the room is very comfortable and thier garden is absolutely beautiful, some mornings you can see monkeys up on the trees, they are located a bit inside from the main road so you have a quiet place but only 5 minutes walk from the main road of midigama and everything you'll need. I stayed for a week and came back again for my last week in sri lanka. thank you so much for having me I'll definitely come back again 🤍

A cozy and quiet place, a large and clean room, an amazing host family who helped us with everything we needed, we stayed longer than planned.

The place is a real paradise, far away from the noisy main road. Our room on the ground floor was really fresh, not need of AC. Walking distance to sea and surfing spots. The family is very kind and there to help you with whatever you may need. Hope to go back! See you soon Manjula !

Lovely location, beautiful property and garden and only a few minutes walk to the beach, near everything but away from the noisy road, friendly family. Nicely furnished, comfy and clean bed. Helpful staff.

Only minor points really, but just be aware that if you’re offered a welcome drink on arrival it will be charged to your bill 🤣 not a lot of money but it did take us a little by surprise. Also, if you’re light sleepers the nearby train comes past very early (didn’t bother us but it might someone else) and the family dogs are outside at night and bark a lot. Still a lovely place and we had a really pleasant stay.
