La Taverna del Leone

From the moment we stepped inside we were greeted by Guiseppio who was warm and welcoming. The room exceeded our expectations, we had a large balcony with beautiful table, chairs and sun loungers. We paid for dinner on the evening we arrived and it was the best meal we had while we stayed in Positano, very well deserved Michelin starred restaurant which was a pleasant surprise

No air con but we knew this before we stayed

We had an amazing time during our stay here. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help – truly outstanding hospitality. The on-site restaurant was absolutely fantastic. Every dish we tried was fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. It’s a must to dine here at least once during your stay – you won’t regret it! Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The location is also perfect: just outside the hustle and bustle of Positano, offering peace and quiet, yet still very easy to reach the town and surrounding areas. Overall, a wonderful experience. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

One small suggestion would be to add a mini fridge in the room – it would be great to keep a few drinks cool, especially during the warmer days.

Restaurant was extremely good! I understand they’ve been recognised by Michelin. Also the patio/balcony and view of the mountains was nice. It was well-cleaned with friendly staff.

Primarily the shower because of the poor water pressure. Lack of AC. The place was generally tired-looking and could need some love. It has really nice potential and I guess the price we paid reflects it not being the top place to stay. But definitely good enough if you’re not too picky.

We loved our stay here the staff simply could not do enough for you they truly spoil you nothing is too much . The rooms are clean and spacious excellent value and the bus stop is right at the door and a 10 minute journey into positano . We Loved the location away from the busy streets of positano . The pizza here the best we ever had infact the food by far is the best we ate in the area . Loved our stay here will visit again.

Wonderful hosts, spotlessly clean and comfortable while a little out of town it is quiet, and has a bus stop right outside to go into Positano

In an ideal world would have air conditioning - but this is planned

Easy to get to Positano with a 20min bus ride away. Room was spacious and clean with beautiful views. Food at the restaurant was fantastic we ate their 3 times during our stay.

This property is on the older side so there isn't any aircon.

Beautiful location with a stunning Mountain View from our large balcony. We had great service from the family run team and we enjoyed wonderful meals at the restaurant. Giuseppe and the rest of the staff we very friendly and helpful, and always ensured our needs were met!

We had an absolutely amazing time at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful, and always smiling. The room was spotless, and very comfortable. Every little detail was thought through to make our stay as pleasant as possible. The location was ideal, the views were breathtaking, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing.
