Location is perfect and staff is very helpful, breakfast is exceptional

(Kein Betreff) Wibowo and his wife are very friendly and welcoming people. The accommodation is very spacious and the bed is comfortable. We were able to have dinner with the family and it was delicious. Very closed on foot to the temple but Wibowo drives us there and picks us up to make us a sight seeing tour and show us a wonderful coffee place an à great view on the top of the hill. Wibowo gives us lots of recommendations for our trip and drives us to Yogyakarta to our next hotel and there to different places to see. We had a great stay and thank our hosts very much.

Wibowo and his wife went to extraordinary lengths to let us enjoy our stay in Prambanan. He shared with great enthousiasm knowledge and tips about the area. The first evening he took the initiative to drive us to some off-the-beaten track temples. The following day we could borrow bicycles and discover some more. Unbelievable but true: because he felt we took quite some time, he drove to the temple to check if we were ok 😁 (of course we were. We were just having a great time cruising by bike across the Java countryside). General appearance and cleanliness entirely in line with the projected image on this site.

Love the quiet, peaceful, and homey atmosphere. We've had such a good night sleep. The property also provide basic necessities we need and couples more. Such a warm hospitality. ❤️

If you want a beautiful and authentic travel experience, stay at Ruma Desa Homestay!! Most tourists visit Prambanan as a day trip from Yogyakarta, but if you stay closeby you can really take your time exploring all of the temples in the area (The property is 700 metres from Candi Prambanan). We had some of the temple complexes completely to ourselves! Prambanan is also a really nice community to spend a few days in and Hany & Wibowo were exceptional hosts who looked after our every need.

Owners/ hosts keen to help you enjoy stay and area They offered and provided drives and fresh meals for a reasonable cost - beyond expectations Their are currently two rooms with ensuite toilet/shower.( One of the rooms has toilet/shower combo which is common here (like a Canadian camper ))

Note to foreigners: This is a Muslim country with call to prayer on loudspeaker, first one before sunrise. Suggesting earplugs if you aren't Muslim and wish to sleep in. It's hard to walk and cross the main roads here (and generally in Indonesian cities), but smaller neighborhood lanes are nice for a stroll

The house is comfortable, the host Mrs and Mr Wibowo are very kind and friendly. Located near Candi Sewu . Their warm welcome make you fell at home. One day Mrs Wibowo offer me a ride to the temple nearby.. how nice of her. Will come back again next time.

Nothing, about the house .. but nearby mosque in the morning will give you a morning call at 4:30 am

It's look like being at home. All the family takes part in the event. Father drives the guests all around the temples. Mother cooks meals and checks everything in the house. Others do their jobs smiling. The house is in strategic position as far as temples are concerned. Cheap price, much substance. Thank you!

Bathroom could be better organised.

Will absolutely recommend this wonderful Homestay! The family is extremely welcoming and hospitable. Wibowo is open and helpful, he gave us useful advices regarding the sightseeing (he even drew us a map as to how to get to the best spot to see the sunrise). The room is very clean, comfortable and had all the facilities for a comfortable stay. Special thanks for the food — it was so good!
