A great experience in Hany & Wibowo Homestay 22 & 23 April The family awaited my arrival and I was warmly welcomed & offered drinks and beautiful homemade snacks. They provided exceptional service including incredible freshly homemade meals personally cooked by Hany. As a sole traveller they were concerned about my safety and insisted on collecting me from the ballet which takes place within the grounds of the temples and well worth attending. Both Hany and Wibowo provided me with invaluable information with regard to their way of life. The home stay is within a short walk of the temples and approx 17 K from Yogagakarta. Wibowo also provides transport to destinations requested by guests. This homestay is a family home and comes highly recommended

Owner couple was super sweet and helpful in any posible ways. Breakfest was good and there were always coffee, tea and little snacks if you wanted. They had a bicycle for the guests, so moving around town was easy and they drive me to local teatre-show and came to pic me back.

Excellent location, close to Candi Prambanan. Nice room, large and comfortable. Provided a great breakfast, very early in the morning at my request. Picked me up and dropped me off at the railway station, as well as to the Ramayana Ballet. They also let me use their bicycle, which is a great way to explore all the temples in the area.

The room is large, extremely comfortable and very clean. Tea and coffee is freely provided, the room is serviced daily. There is a spacious communal area where a delicious breakfast is served every morning. Mrs Hani also cooks a wonderful evening meal and lunch which is served in this space. Mr Wibowo also provides a variety of trips to various locations and the two that we participated in.were excellent, with good driving, a good knowledge of extra things to see, easy company and value for money which cost exactly the price quoted. The location is a short walk to the prambanan temple entrance and the ramayana ballet is a 30 minute walk. Mr Wibowo and his wife Mrs Hani are wonderful hosts, very welcoming, thoughtful and great company and we were genuinely sorry to leave. It is no exaggeration to say our stay was exceptional and perfect and I would highly recommend this home stay to anybody thinking of visiting the temple and other sights in the area

This is an amazing place if you want to immerse yourself into local culture. The host family was extremely helpful and provided me with lots of local experiences and ideas. If possible ask the host to help you with a ride to the airport or your next destination. I did and he was more of a local tour than transport. Can’t recommend this family enough.

A little more expensive than other home stays but well worth it.

Wibobo and Heni are very attentive hosts, always trying to make their guests feel home and comfortable. He has a profound knowledge of Yogia, the temples and all other sites of interest (ie. restaurants, batik shops etc.) He can give valuable information and recommendations for your tours. Besides that he is an excellent driver and ready to take you wherever you want at a reasonable price. Heni cares for the homestay and has an important part for the guests wellbeing. Try her Indonesian breakfast instead of the Western food options. Or ask her for a good and healthy vegetables soup if you have some problems with your stomach. As I did. If I ever will return to Java I will stay again at Wibowo's and Heni's place. I had a wonderful time with you. Thank you.

A real homestay experience where we felt welcomed and well looked after. Wibowo and Heni are great hosts with a wealth of knowledge about the area. Catering our daily experiences around the children’s needs was just next level service.
