Rumah Desa Homestay

We passed a fantastic stay at Rumah Desa with the owner Wibowo and is wife. The accomdation is just few hundred meters from the Prambanan temple.The rooms are spacious with everything for our confort (tooothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, shampoo, clim, hot water, free coffee and tea, freewater,...). Wibowo coud drive you every where you want and could book many thing for you. We ate twice at the homestay and it was better and cheaper than in restaurant. The Wibowo's wife who is calling Anie (i think) is a very good cooker. This two people are very frendly, always with smile... I recomand at hundred pourcent !

We had a fantastic time at the homestay. Wibowo and his wife go out of their way to look after you. The place is immaculately clean and the breakfast is yummy. We stayed here for 2 nights so we could get to Prambanan Temple early which was totally worth it - we were there by ourselves and it wasn’t too hot.

5am call to prayer from local mosque. But hey, if you stay in Jogja then that’s what happens :)

Clean large room. Lovely breakfast. Nice quite place. Mr Wibaw and Mrs Henny are excellent hosts.

Nothing except there a mosque nearby which blares aazan at very high volume early morning so if you are a late riser it will wake you up.

Everything about Rumah Desa Homestay is filled with love. ❤️ The owner Mr. Wibowo and his wife really makes you feel at home. Mr.Wibowo loves to drive you to place you have never been and he makes sure you are comfortable while he's driving. Snacks and drinks are always with him. Mr. Wibowo's wife cook you meals and breakfast with lots of love in it and we preferred to stay at their home for dinner instead of going to a restaurant. The room is big and have everything you need to feel at home. We really recommend this homestay to everybody!! Don't look any further!!

Nothing to complain about!!

We had a really nice experience in Rumah Desa Homestay. The room is spacious and it had everything you need. The breakfast is also really good and homemade. The location is great because it is located 5min by bicycle from the Homestay (they have 2 bikes). But the best thing is the kindness of our hosts Heny and Wibowo. They are unbelievably kind and will help you however they can !We really recommend this place !

We cannot recommend this homestay enough. Wibowo and his family went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and we did everything we wanted to do in the time we were there. Wibowo spoke very good English and was so easy to communicate with before arriving and during our stay. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable and has complimentary items such as toiletries and water provided. The actual building is beautiful and the surrounding area is safe and easy to navigate. Wibowo took us to Prambanan temple, picked us up and showed us around the area. We had such an amazing day and won’t forget it. Wibowo also offers lots of different services and kindly drove us to Probolinggo (mount Bromo) the next day as we were struggling for other ways to get there. He charged us reasonably and made our journey very comfortable. We can’t thank Wibowo and his family enough for a lovely experience and regret we only stayed in Prambanan for one night.

First, the kindness and the helpfulness of the owners. Wibowo takes us to a lot of temples around Prambanan. He also drives us to the Prambanan temple, while it was only 500 m on foot. And his wife cooked a delicious indonesian breakfast and dinner (not so many restaurants in the neigbourhood and it was ramadan) Large room, comfortable bed and a lot of amenities (coffee - thee - cookies). Perfect location near the Prambanan complex.

Don't go to Java in the ramadan in a location to close to a mosk with huge loudspeakers !! Loud yelling 4 of 5 times in the night !!

lovely home and lovely couple,i do really enjoy the days here, host is very friendly and kind, who gave me lots of suggestion about my trip, her wife is also very nice and prepare the breakfast nicely, most important is good location, near to Prabanam, will back again for next time.
