Silent River Cottage

The hosts give you a warm welcome and are very helpful and attentive. They arranged everyting for me: Safari tour, visit to Elephant Transit Centre, transport to my next stop and cooked a delicious meal. The guesthouse is set in a peaceful, green garden next to a river in an authentic Sri Lankan village. Highly recommendable!

The service and food was amazing. They really helped us with transport and safari. Very nice people. They invited us to play carrom. 100% recommendation.

Everything alright

The host and his family are very welcoming. They really make an effort to make you feel good and welcomed. They make many extra thing and don’t ask money for it, like bringing you lunch, making fresh juice after safari or as a welcome drink. The cottage has nice sitting area with a garden view. It was nice and clean inside and I felt good there. I recommend eating there as well. Dinners were delicious.

Really lovelly place with the river, a beautiful garden a really greats accommodations, the familly is full or sympathy, care and share. All the moments that we shared togerher were Amazing! I recommand :) thank s a lot

Everything was perfect. The owner and his wife took care of us like their own. They even went with us to solve the problem with the motorbike. The bungalow is very clean and comfortable. Highly recommended. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to meet such nice people.

We felt very comfortable. Hosts made us feel at home. Rooms are very clean and the whole space is well taken care of, and the food is good. We could not enjoy the river because we didn’t have time, but it’s only a reason to come back!

Being hosted in this structure was an amazing experience under any point of view. The hosts are both very friendly and they will help you with every kind of needs. With reference to the structure, you will find two big rooms very well equiped and super clean with air conditionated and moder furnitures, a big and confortable bed and a good shower with hot water. Moreover, having just two rooms in the entire structure, reaching a full relax in the beautiful garden will be ensured. It is also possible to have meals, breakfast and dinner are really well made by the Madam, the best meals we had in Sri Lanka definitely. This guesthouse is very close to the Elephant rescue center, where you will have the occasion to see elephant cared by experts and volounteer. Lastly, this guesthouse is a very good point to have a Safari in Udawale National Park. The host organized everything for us, a long and amazing private Safari for a cheap price in one of the beautifulest park of the county.
