Bird House Mirissa

Location and host family were amazing. We had such delicious food cooked by them and they were beyond helpful and kind.

While the price obviously means’s one should have corresponding expectations, the place could have been a bit cleaner and unfortunately, there was barely any running water for the first evening.

Ishan was a really friendly host who helped us around and gave tips for things to do and see. The dinner and breakfast served by his mom were really good as well! The house itself is completely made out of wood which really gives the vibe of being in a treehouse.

We had such a wonderful stay in Sri Lanka, everything was absolutely beautiful and we were extremely happy with our experience! Ishan was incredibly kind and always ready to help us with anything we needed. His parents are truly lovely people, and his mother prepares a delicious breakfast every morning. The location is perfect, and we felt so comfortable and welcome here. Thank you so much for everything we truly appreciated it! 🙏🏼♥️

Familien har skabt en dejlig lille oase midt i det travle Mirissa. Beliggenheden er med tilpas afstand til strand, restauranter og barer, så der er roligt. De førnævnte ting er indenfor 10 minutters gå afstand. Værten og hans familie er super søde og hjælpsomme.

Påfuglene er fascinerende, men de kan godt larme lidt om natten, så ørepropper kan være en god idé, hvis du er lydfølsom :-)
