Darshani Lodge

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft, die sehr zu empfehlen ist. Die freundlichen und engagierten Besitzer sind stolz auf ihr Eigentum und das merkt man, die ganze Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und durchdacht. Der Pool ist wirklich toll und man soll von der Terrasse aus sogar manchmal wilde Elefanten sehen können! Das Essen (Frühstück und Abendessen) ist auch ein Traum, schmeckt sehr gut und ist mehr als ausreichend. Ein sicherer Parkplatz für unser Mietauto war auch vorhanden. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt!

Etwas mehr Ablagemöglichkeiten im Zimmer selbst wären praktisch. Kein Mangel des Hotels, aber vielleicht doch interessant: Wir haben ein Zimmer mit Terrasse und eines mit Balkon gebucht, weil wir dachten, dass diese übereinander liegen... dem ist aber nicht so, die unterschiedlichen Zimmer liegen in verschiedenen Gebäuden, wobei das Zimmer mit Terrasse mehr Privatsphäre bietet.

We enjoyed our stay at Darshani Lodge very much. The host Anu has a very positive mind set and is always willing to help you. The rooms are very nice and clean. Anu arranged a Safari for us for two families for reasonable prices. Furthermore, we were very surprised with the large breakfast we got. It was a mix of sweet and savory items and fruit like a Sri Lanka dish. Also the swimming pool was great to get refreshed after a safari afternoon. Needles to say we highly recommend Darshani Lodge.

Nice ressort directly in a nice huge garden. Very nice and helpfull people. They booked us a safari and transport for the next destination. Breakfast a bit limited, but good.

Not many restaurant around. An area with more choices is about 2 km away

Beautiful property, comfortable and clean. Anu his family made us feel welcome and looked after us incredibly well. So grateful for their hospitality and providing food at various times of day depending on our schedule. Anu also helped us get to and from local sites and even helped organise transport to Kandy at the end of our stay. Had a great time and would definitely visit again.

Really lovely staff who were very helpful and with organising our safari and tuk tuk rides. Very nice and clean pool, tasty breakfast and clean rooms. It’s a quiet oasis where you can relax after a whole day. Highly recommend this stay!

cozy room offering breathtaking views of the garden and surrounding nature. Our host was incredibly friendly, welcoming us with a delicious fruit drink, guiding us to Pidurangala Rock at sunset, arranging an unforgettable elephant safari, and taking us to a gems shop the next day. Excellent communication and genuine warmth made our stay truly special. Highly recommend!
