Staff were never available and on site. Our toilet broke and they didn’t fix it or gave us any alternative. They promised they would do our laundry within a day and before we left the accommodation almost 2 days after it wasn’t ready. They also overcharged the laundry. It took them 1:30h to give us a bowl of pineapple while the restaurant was empty and they still managed to make it wrong and gave us mango. They didn’t have any motorcycles functional. Staff was extremely rude to us and they were always complaining. Would not recommend.

Quiet relaxing place. Deluxe accomodation is excellent. I was going to stay one night and i stayed for a week 😁 There is a bar restaurant as well where you can eat and drink at night.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Due to the staff’s incompetence we almost missed our ferry, they left us completely helpless. We had a ferry booked at 6AM to Dumaguete for our flight to Manila the same day. I confirmed with 2 different staff members that a taxi had been booked on 3 different occasions, yet no one turned up. When we asked for help the owner’s sister (who was the only one awake) completely ignored us. When we politely asked her to wake the owner for help she said the owner couldn’t be woken until 7am… After 6 months of travelling this is my worst experience!

Such a lovely place to stay, very spacious, lots of greenery and garden. The dogs were adorable and the owner even let us take them for a walk on the beach. Walking distance to beach, motorcycle hire to go to waterfalls and marine sanctuary (which is a must visit!) We didn’t try the restaurant but I’m sure it was great. Allowed us to extend at short notice. Thank you!

Really nice bar with great pool table, darts etc and restaurant food was great. Good location to beaches. They also offered laundry which was very helpful. Chelle was friendly and gave recommendations about the area.

The fact that there were wood termites in our room (mainly ceiling) and they were dropping their mess all over us when we slept. We thought it was sand at first from the beach and soon realised there was a termite problem. When we spoke to the (male) owner, he was incredibly dismissive, rude and quite frankly just didn’t care. (He was already aware of this termite issue) His customer service was appalling, no remorse was shown whatsoever which led us to leave a night early and find somewhere else to stay for our last night.

Nice and quiet property, the room was spacious and had a dresser and mirror. Fast laundry service, 2 fans in the room which was nice

The bathroom was dirty with other people’s hair in the shower and sink. It was difficult trying to find someone when you needed something and when I asked about tours I was told they didn’t know how to book anything. 30 minute walk to the beach.

It was absolutely amazing. We’ve got an whole house for ourselves with, kitchen, fridge, private bathroom and an super view. The owners are super lovely and talked to us every day. We’ve wanted to stay there 6 days, but ended up staying 9. We even could do our laundry here! The owners will do everything, they helped us with arranging the ferry and got great tips about the island. They even let us take their dog to the beach!

Initially it was nice, I was in the cottage. But then got moved to the standard room which is next door to the building site which I was not made aware of upon booking. Room was ok for price.

The builders were very inconsiderate of the guests, singing constantly. The hosts were ok, hot water for coffee everyday was nice but considering the building work was the least they could do. Just wish they had let me know on booking that I would be next door to the building site, would have definitely shortened my stay and gone somewhere else. Not much of a vibe here, def not a ‘backpackers’.
