Chelle's Guesthouse and Backpackers

I forgot my passport and other important items in the locker of the Hostel. The staff and chelle, helped me out a lot to get my stuff back. Thanks again!

The staff were fantastic. Big shout out to Joyce who was so helpful and friendly. The beds were comfy and the memory foam pillows were great. Also it was only a 15 min walk to Peliton beach and close to bars and restaurants on the other side too.

The showers could do with being updated and the aircon in the dorm isn’t terribly effective. They could use another unit for the size of the room.

Nice and clean, one of the best hostels i stayed at! Very comfortable and spacious the facilities are great! Loved staying here :)

I had a great stay at Chelle's. Spacious dorm, comfy beds, and hot shower! It is near everything. The staff is really nice and helpful. I booked 1 night and stayed for a week. Thank you so much!

All was very nice

It’s a nice space, close to a few good places to eat (got to U need a break Cafe for breakfast!) and has a nice restaurant on site. Our room was nicely decorated and really private.

Sometimes the staff weren’t around to help out or hadn’t been given the tools to do so by the manager but when they were they got things sorted. There is only one outside area to hang out in which is right by the dorms, it would be nice to have some more outside space for guests as there is lots of space on the property

Chelle is very accommodating and the backpackers dorm is newly renovated. It offers nice facilities and is very spacious. In the evening you can relax in the hammocks outside or head over to Chelles Bistro for some dinner. If you are there on the weekend head down the road to JJs for an amazing Party.

Amazing outside kitchen area to relax or work which is the reason why we booked this room. The whole property has a nice layout with common chill area in the middle. The owner is friendly and speaks German. Also very welcoming to drink cocktails in the bar (with billiards and darts) directly next to this property which belongs together.

We had some power outages and there is no generator but we got warned beforehand, so no bad surprises. The only problem is there is no WiFi at outage times and there is no mobile data connection inside the hut.
