Chelle's Guesthouse and Backpackers

Good location near bars and the beach, comfortable and nice staff. I rented my bike there. Chelle is the owner and she was super kind with me. Also the common area in the garden is perfect to socialize

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful especially Jessa, extremely spacious room offering a nice balcony and good privacy. Wifi worked perfectly without issues and having a restaurant on the property was a huge bonus! We got to meet the owner Chelle on our last night and she was very kind, nice and funny to a point we wish we extended our stay longer.

The only things I did not like is that the fridge in the room did not really get cold and my big complaint was the mosquitos on the balcony of the room were horrible to a point I wish the facility provided mosquito repellent or candles that repel them.

Female room with a good size, bottom beds have curtains for more privacy, good cleanliness, is not a social hostel so it's quiet which I like, but it has a good spot with hammocks if you want to chill.

Shower pressure is REALLY bad, I could rarely find someone at reception if I needed some help or ask anything. One night AirCon was not working properly so slept bad because of the heat, next day I spoke to the owner and she answered in a really bad way, saying that she is not a mechanic so she didn't know how to set the AirCo, blaming one of the guests of setting it in a different mode so that's why it was not working properly lol. After that she went to the room to fix it but not in a good mood.

Good value for money. Has hot water for shower

No phone reception in room, make sure you grab the wifi.

The staff were lovely. The dorm was clean and comfortable.

Lots of mosquitos in the room but not sure why as there were fly screens everywhere. The one aircon unit wasn’t terribly effective for the size of the dorm.

One young room service lady was very nice. Nothing else was not good

1.The owner (lady) came to my room as she liked, even when i was taling shower. 2.i was living together with friend and somebody stole our money selectuvely, some hundred EUR! Friend has lost some reserved money from purse and his watch was also stolen. Overall we got very bad emotions and do not recommend this to anybody!

Ms. Chelle is very accommodating and cheerful. The room and comfort room are clean and the lowest price in town, with motorbike for rent. Complete with towels and neat sheets and good air-condition.

WIFI is sometimes lost, I have no Globe/Smart signal inside the male dorm room.
