Superb place to stay and cool building

Beautiful location, very comfy bed, slept very well. Went over to Dobbies in the morning for breakfast two for £15 reasonable enough.

Not able to wash dishes as no sink, didn't like leaving them unwashed. Tv not set up to freeview so you have to search apps to watch tv.

Our bedroom had an excellent view of the ancient Toll Bridge across the street. You need a car and there is free parking right outside the door. The directions to get the property made it easy to find and not far from the center of Sterling. The espresso machine made the best coffee in Scotland! Our welcoming hosts aka "fairies" left clean dishes for us daily.

The apartment is located in the historical wing of the house so the rooms were a bit chilly and the bedspread was short for my 6'4" husband. The bathroom is newly remodeled but it was difficult to get in and out of the beautiful full sized clawfoot bathtub to get a shower.

Fueron muy amables, los espacios eran como en las fotos, bonitos y cómodos y pudimos aparcar dentro. Así que fue todo muy fácil y agradable.

This is a lovely little apartment, with a friendly host. Fi communicated well before we arrived and gave us a warm welcome.

There was little to dislike. The only slightly odd thing is the layout - it feels like a separate apartment, but the hosts use a small section of the corridor themselves, too. Fi did warn us about this when we arrived, and it wasn't an issue for us.

El colchón era muy confortable, descansamos muy bien. Y la tranquilidad y silencio del sitio nos gustó. La anfitriona nos recibió y era amable.

Expensive for self catering

Easy access. Crockery fairies did the washing up. Easy to get to a variety of dinner options, pubs and tourist attractions.
