Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice of what to eat. Good value for money. The evening meal was also simple well cooked and excellent quality with friendly service.

Not much to criticize. No Wifi in the room but that didn't worry me as there was in the Bar and phone goes to sleep when I do!.

The room was very clean and very affordable. Had a small pizza for supper, very good.

Very comfortable rooms. Homely atmosphere. Staff welcoming and friendly. Loved learning about the history of the house. Beautiful garden!

It took some getting used to the noise from the township surrounding the property.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are travelling between Kenton and Johannesburg. The town is a little run down but the hotel is beautiful and gracious. It is similar to an old colonial house. The bedroom was very large with lovely old furniture and the bed was very comfortable. The dinner was served in the bar area which was a little noisy but the dinner was delicious. Breakfast was also very good and it was served in the breakfast room in the hotel.

The town is run down but the owners manage the hotel really well so do not be put off. The bar can be noisy as it is an open bar but the bartender runs it well and manages the noise.
