Dune Towers - Boutique Nature Resort

We were a total of 9 people ( including two kids) The staff were friendly, helpful and kind which made us feel secure and at home. They were extremely eager to help us in any way possible.🙂 The pool was fun for all, the garden was well kept. The Sri Lankan cuisine they prepared for us was excellent 👌(mostly they serve Sri Lankan food. Which we didn't mind at all, as we were there to enjoy the Sri Lankan culture and cuisine. 😊)

The access road to the location is very bumpy. I would recommend calling the manager before turning to the access road. (Because one of the roads leading can be a big hassle for low road clearance vehicles.) Some shower heads were not working properly. I told the manager about it. He mentioned, that it'll be fixed asap ( It didn't bother us that much, because I loved taking showers outside 😁) Flies! Due to the farming in the surrounding area, there are a lot of flies! But the staff did everything to exterminate the problem 🙂 They were very concerned about us. I hope they can figure out better solutions to the issue.

We had a wonderful stay at Dune Towers. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they prepared some delicious lunch and dinner for us during our stay. We especially appreciated being allowed to use the facilities for a few extra hours after check-out — a thoughtful gesture that made our experience even better. The building itself is truly unique, with the dune tower design adding a special touch to the atmosphere. Our room was very spacious, spotless, and comfortable. The location is also great — just a short walk from the beach and with a lovely swimming pool on site. While it is a bit remote from other places, we didn’t mind at all. We were happy with the food options provided and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing by the beach and pool. All in all, a peaceful and memorable getaway. Highly recommended!

Dune Towers will not be everyones cup of tea, but we had a very lovely few days there. It's in a very wild and remote location which we loved. The rooms are in two quite new towers with a deck slung between, and a dining room for when the flies get too overpowering. The food and the service were outstanding. The pool, and its slide were great fun. The nearby beach is sublime and deserted. The Dolphin trip will live in my memory forever- very special. So LOTS to like.

At the time of our stay the flies (presumably from the nearby agriculture) were a serious irritation during the day-time.

In the midst of nature and the staff are so friendly. The boat ride was special and spotting the dolphin pods made it extra special - all arranged by Dune Towers! Massage also on-site which was really good!

Nothing …..we loved all aspects of Dune Towers!!

Beautiful place to stay, stunning location. Big airy bedroom, kind helpful staff . Very relaxing environment. Great pool

There are issues with the flies but I think the owner is doing everything possible to reduce this. Big fans and nets definitely help and no bugs or flies at all in the bedroom.

It was terrific place. I had a marvelous time by the ocean. - Nice and clean rooms; - Friendly and kind staff; - Delicious Sri Lanka (local) cousine; - Breathtaking view and nice garden; - Fantastic swimming pool with bar stools; - Variety of activities and facultative trips; - Everything for fairly low prices. Definitely I will return to this place in the future.

Paradise on earth. Great rooms, great cook, great garden, extraordinary swimming pool, nature all around: plantations, dunes, beach, and the ocean.

The access road. When it rains a lot, a normal car can not get there. Still - it is really really worth to get there somehow!
