Dune Towers - Boutique Nature Resort

The stay at Dune Towers was fantastic. It’s a beautiful venue where attention to detail and customer care are taking seriously. Staff is super friendly and helpful and the food is delicious! Highly recommended.

Really helpful staff, lovely food. Amazing architecture, very comfortable room, everything worked. We walked the 5 km to St Anne’s Shrine, along the beach, Thanseem arranged for a tuk tuk to be there to bring us back for breakfast It is isolated but apart from walking the beach we were very happy to enjoy the beautiful place

The flies are a fact of life but none in the wind on the rooftop and excellent bed nets and A/C. A plugin mosquito repellent may help but we found no mosquitoes The beach is beautiful with traditional fishing in the mornings. You just have to look away from the evidence that humanity loves to through plastic away but the rubbish is only at the top of the beach. The majority is clear sand and sea and you may meet the turtle conservation team who work with the hotel

- Challenging road conditions to get there - Flies, flies, flies and mosquitoes during certain times of the day - Ants everywhere in the outdoor bathroom - Secluded, it takes 45 min by tuktuk to get to Kalpitiya - The beach is unfortunately full with garbage (a rather common Sri Lankan problem however) - Be aware that everything you do in this resort is slightly overpriced - No wifi in bottle room - The saddest rabbit with worst conditions I’ve seen in my life - The manager has an ambivalent attitude towards customer service which made us feel rather unwelcome at times Room for improvement - better closure of the mosquito net upstairs in the bottle house - A sign at the beach indicating where to go - easy to get lost otherwise after long beach walks!

The staff was incredibly helpful and were accomodative to make sure my elderly grandparents felt really comfortable at the property. The beach was simply breathtaking and the property was one of the most unique places I've visited in Sri Lanka.

The road to get to the property was incredibly treacherous. During the rainy season, it would be virtually impossible to get to unless you have a vehicle with high ground clearance.

We had such a wonderful stay! The rooms are beautifully designed with so much attention to detail. The staff went above and beyond to customize all our activities to exactly what we wanted. The new pool is incredible—surrounded by rocks, with a slide and a waterfall, it felt like a mini paradise. We loved the swim-up bar and enjoyed drinks right in the pool. The food was fresh and delicious, with locally grown vegetables. Can’t wait to come back!

Peaceful hidden gem in the dunes on walking distance from the ocean. We loved the quiet walks on the shore being followed by the two sweet dogs of Dune towers. Keeping us safe. The room is spacious and clean and the staff very friendly, professional and easy to approach. We enjoyed the food and we'll definitely come back to Dune towers again.

A kettle in the room would be nice.

"Amazing Stay at Dune Towers – A Perfect Getaway!" We had such a great time at Dune Towers and I can't recommend it enough! Staff was so welcoming and friendly. The location is stunning – quiet beach. The rooms were super comfortable, clean, and really well-designed, whole resort felt very peaceful and private, perfect for relaxing. The chef made some of the best seafood we’ve ever had, and the staff was always happy to adjust the menu for us. Even they arranged a roof-top dinner, so we were watching sunset into the Indian Ocean. We loved the pool with slide.

We were amazed by unique building and stylish pool with slide. Meals are very delicious and room were cleaned nicely. Staff was friendly and helpful with all the things. I recommend this Hotel and we would like to come back again in future for sure.
