Dune Towers - Boutique Nature Resort

Beautiful and peaceful place, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful - highly recommended!

We were attracted to this hotel because of it's remote location. We enjoyed a lovely long walk along the beach, swimming and exploring the surrounding area. The food here was fantastic and the manager did all he could to make our stay a good one.

The hotel is absolutely remote - in the middle of nowhere! But that makes it very nice. During the night for beautiful stargazing and during daytime for trips to the beach and the surrounding dunes. I have received a free upgrade to a fantastic deluxe room - freshly renovated and clean. The breakfast was also very nice. I would really recommend the Dune Towers for a quiet trip at Puttalam Lagoon.

The beach nearby is very quiet but also extremely dirty. It’s full of plastic bottles and hence not very inviting for a bath or a longer walk.

This was one of the favorite places we stayed on our trip! The setting is absolutely beautiful within the sand dunes and right on the beach. The yard is so beautiful with many plants and trees and the rooms were very comfortable. The owner was beyond amazing and went out of his way to make our stay amazing. He even helped us to order dinner from a restaurant for delivery and reheated the food for us. The breakfast was outstanding. I would recommend this place to anyone and hope we can come back! Thanks again.

The people working here are lovely and it has a good rooftop chill spot.

It includes breakfast but it’s very limited. Not a full Sri Lankan breakfast that you get elsewhere. The single rooms are small and dark. Dinner was good but at $11 a little overpriced.

Excellent location to start a Sri Lanka journey - fairly close to the airport (appr. 3 h), great breakfast and dinner, very nice hosts, nice rooms, beautiful tour to a Mangrove forest, very close to the beach, no people at the beach, very nice waves and perfect water temperature

This is an interesting hotel because of its fancy architecture and design surrounded by sandy dunes in the middle of nowhere. It gives you a sense of serenity and calm. You can enjoy the picturesque sunset from the roof. The food was very good and the staff were very nice. The hotel owners keep their place clean and charming.

Almost all was great. Only because of the farm fields around and the village roads it was a bit hard to reach the hotel by our car. One has to have a high seat car or a jeep. Anyway, the hotel's owners were so nice to drop us back to the place where our driver could meet us.

It is like a castle nestled between the dunes and coconut groves! Probably the best stay I have had in Sri Lanka!! Everything is super clean and the furniture, building and linens are brand new! The location is perfect to get away from it all! I practice daily yoga and meditation and it was wonderful they let me use the panoramic roof terrace to welcome the sunrise!

Everything was PERFECT! Accommodation and the place was gorgeous. The ocean very close to the apartment - 5 minutes walk. The owners and the staff do everything what you ask for (actually you don’t even need to tell it, you can just dream about it😀). And the best is the food. It is simply unbelievably awesome💜
