Villa The Leaf

Beautiful place with warm and kind people. It is a tradiodional place run by local people, Upeska and her family but it is also very equiped for a comfortable stay. Upeska would always respond within a few minutes and make sure to care for all our needs. Their food is family style and delicious. I would definetely book again!

The room was very clean,spacious and quiet !it’s just a few minutes walk from the beach and the centre of weligama!really nice view to the river!Upeska our hostess went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed!The breakfast was basic but nice !100% value for money!

very nice hosts and a beautiful room! the garden is next to the river and with all those trees it spends even shadow to the pool area - so perfect if you travel with kids!

Lovely serene place at the riverside run by a very friendly family. Spacious comfy room with a/c and a great garden with a pool to hang out. Evert wish was met in an instant. Only 5 minutes to the Beach. 100% recommendation

Absolutely stunning villa on the river, amazingly friendly host and fantastic facilities

True to the pictures - tucked away and quiet we got the whole top floor. The rooms were enormous and had really lovely balconies. Very comfortable. 2 mn walk to the sea. You are far from where most of the weligama action is but can walk to it in 20 mn or so on the beach which is lovely. There was also a nice couple of restaurants on the beach very near.

The food including breakfast was expensive and ok but not amazing so we ended up buying our own

very noisy, at night there was a disco nearby, which was very audible until 5 am, there was construction nearby, which was audible during the day. Also, the noise isolation is so-so. We lived on the first floor and clearly heard the stomping of children from above.

It is very isolated, nice, comfortbale and quite.

Garden and pool area are beautiful and geeen.

Very friendly staff, room has lovely view of the river and air conditioner was working well. The bed is good, but the bathroom was slightly worn out, especially toilet. No shampoo, no body wash, only a little piece of soap.

It's pretty far from the center but the beach is close. The second night was really noisy due to some outdoor party nearby. The pool is tiny and not clean. Room requires more lightning
