The Avenue House

The room was beautiful, the garden was an amazing place to relax in. The house itself was clean and smelled great ! I loved all the plants and just the overall look of the place. Very homey and comfortable! The host, Moran, was absolutely amazing and extremely kind. Thank you for a lovely stay and for being such a great host !

The team is very friendly and responds fast whenever you need them ( thanke Moran and Philip). Nice hot water pressure in the shower. Fully equipped kitchen. There house is very cozy with good vibes. Well security protected property.

There is no intercom by the entrance, and staff not always present - thus you have to communicate with them via Whatsapp and phone. I would also recommend putting heavy curtains in the room to block sunlight. The place is far from major tourist attractions.

The guest house is very clean in a quiet neighborhood. Just a quick Uber ride away from restaurants. My room was just beautiful! You can tell a lot of effort went into choosing the house decor! The house includes a full shared kitchen! I also appreciated that guests could use the washer and dryer. Moran is just the best, so professional, personable, and communicative! He went above and beyond and gave me a lift to the restaurants since it was on his way home. The location worked very well for me but if you want to tour Cape Town CBD, waterfront, etc, it may be a bit out of the way. I'd stay here again!!

The property has everything you needed: comfy bed, washer/dryer, well equipped large kitchen, nice garden, hang out areas, and a very kind host. He even gave me a ride to the grocery store which was very nice of him. We had an excellent experience and would absolutely come back!!

You can hear some street noise but it wasn’t that bad if you closed the window.
