Loved the breakfast - it was the most amazing start to the day. Loved the location too - it was great to have the beach to ourselves!

Das Hotel ist wunderschön gestaltet, das Meerblick-Zimmer sowie das Gartenblick-Zimmer sind traumhaft und laden zum Entspannen ein. Die dort arbeitende Menschen sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Es gibt eine tolle Boutique mit schönen Sachen. Das Frühstück ist ein Traum. Der Pool ist schön und schattig für Kinder. Mit dem Tuk Tuk ist man innerhalb von 10 Minuten in Hiriketiya. Der Strand vor der Tür ist sehr rau, aber man kann nach links über den Strand schnell zu ruhigeren Stränden gehen.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt hier. Das Hotel ist klein und gemütlich, die Zimmer haben eine gute Grösse und sind schön ausgestattet. Am schönsten ist der Blick direkt vom Bett aufs Meer und den Strand. Das grösste Plus sind die Angestellten.Sie sind unheimlich freundlich, aufmerksam und hilfsbereit. In der Gegend gibt es einige nette Cafés und Restaurants (Welly, Good Kitchen) und mit dem Tuktuk ist man schnell in Hiriketiya.

Parasol Doré is a beautiful boutique hotel, perfectly positioned between a peaceful stretch of Dickwella village and its own secluded beach. There are a few lovely cafés and restaurants within walking distance, with many more options a short trip away in Hiriketiya. We spent two weeks in this tranquil sanctuary, often without feeling the need to venture far. Our days were happily spent unwinding—sipping fresh coconuts, dipping in the ocean or the pool (often both), and simply letting time pass at an easy pace. The staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Jeremy and Julie are wonderful hosts who go above and beyond to ensure your stay is as comfortable and memorable as possible. Julie also runs a small on-site clothing boutique that’s well worth a visit. We would return in a heartbeat.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit gehobener Ausstattung und viel Liebe zum Detail. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist einfach traumhaft – man hört ständig das Rauschen der Wellen. Das Personal war durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und hat den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die stilvolle Einrichtung und die hohe Qualität der Ausstattung. Ein ganz besonderer Dank gilt Roshan, der durchweg unglaublich freundlich war und uns jederzeit geholfen hat, wo es nur ging. Absolut empfehlenswert!

The beach is stunning - we almost always had it to ourselves! We loved our room with comfy bed, spacious bathroom and wonderful bifold doors opening out to a view over the pool, pretty garden and beach beyond. Pool is refreshing and calm. Breakfasts were exceptional and the breakfast room upstairs is lovely. Staff all so friendly and helpful and warm, as are the owners, Julie and Jeremy.

No decent restaurants that are walkable (not that we found anyway). Nothing a quick tuktuk ride can’t solve though!

Parasol Dore to nie tylko miejsce, to szczególne doświadczenie. Estetyczne i głęboko etyczne. Gospodarze, Jeremy i Julia stworzyli istną perłę nad oceanem. Mogliśmy u nich głęboko odpocząć, wyciszyć się, zasymilować doświadczenia wcześniejszej podróży po Sri Lance. Czuliśmy się jak w domu, otoczeni życzliwą obecnością osób, które pracują w Parasol Dore. Dodatkowe udogodnienia, takie jak możliwość oddania rzeczy do prania, zrelaksowania się podczas ajurwedyjskiego masażu w obiekcie, delektowania się przepysznymi śniadaniami na tarasie z widokiem na ocean czynią pobyt jeszcze bardziej wyjątkowym. Zdecydowanie było to nasze najlepsze miejsce podczas podróży po Sri Lance, od razu po przybyciu przedłużyliśmy pobyt. Na miejscu jest także butik z pięknymi ubraniami z naturalnych materiałów, szytymi lokalnie, z dbałością o cały proces ich powstawania. Dziękujemy :)
