Duthus lodge is just as charming as it looks in the photos, and the large double room was perfect for our family of 4. You can’t beat the location either: its in a quieter part of town, but a short bus or tram ride away from all the major sites. Highly recommend! Thanks David for your hospitality!

"Beautiful old Guest House, clean and comfortable. Our host David looked after us."

Close to Westend and easy access to Edinburgh on the local buses. Host was very friendly and provided lots of useful tips.

Limited parking and street parking is at a cost. The shower in Room 1 has poor pressure, but the host is aware.

"Very Homely and Comfortable"

We had a large bright quiet room with 2 big windows and a private bathroom. The accommodation was very clean and our host David was wonderful and helpful. The bus stops to and from the airport and city are right outside the door. For the airport use the 100 bus and the city use the 26 and 31 buses. We would definitely stay here again if in Edinburgh.
