Good location

Not made to feel welcome. Our room was claustrophobic with no windows other than a sky light sited directly over the bed. It rained at night so we could not ventilate the room as we would have got wet. The overflow sink pipe smelt horrendous.

Beautiful home, and a comfortable, spacious and clean room. On site parking. Nice 30 min walk to Waverley made it a great location to enjoy Edinburgh. Host allowed us to check in early so that we could get out and enjoy the sights- very much appreciated!

Water pressure in the shower was a little weak which can't be helped

Very clean and large room with comfortable bed. I had a vey short overnight stay before leaving so didn’t get to try the breakfast.

Small shower but not uncommon at other similar places

Very friendly, responsive and flexible staff who accommodated us arriving very late after a delayed flight. The room was beautiful- spacious ++ and gorgeously decorated! Bathroom was pristine and linens were superb. Great advice re: transport to the airport which saved us an expensive taxi trip! Only regret was having to leave before breakfast due to time restraints. Thanks to the wonderful hosts!

We booked the deluxe quad room for our family of 3, which was huge and comfortable to stay in. The room faced the main road but it was nice and quiet with the double windows. It’s easy to get to from the airport by the airport bus 100, just a few steps away from the Wester Coates stop. David, the manager, was very communicative and helpful during our stay. We mentioned the shower didn’t drain super well in passing and he helped us fix it right away. The cooked breakfast was also delicious. Overall a fantastic stay!

The hospitality and service were exceptional. It was the perfect welcome and start to our trip to Edinburgh. The breakfast each morning was delicious and fresh. We loved the location in a quiet residential area and still close to everything as Edinburgh is such a walkable city. The accommodation and communal spaces were so clean and inviting and we felt so comfortable and welcomed. We would love to come back!

Our bed was a hard and springy and our backs were tender when we woke up.

I was not feeling well and there fire spent most of the day in the room which was pleasant and had a lovely view of the back yard. We walked two short blocks to a great Indian restaurant for dinner.

The room and the location were excellent
