Villa Lé Maas Tota by 98 Acres

We stayed at Villa Le Maas Tota for two nights, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The service was exceptional, the villa was spotless, and the views were absolutely stunning. The peaceful and tranquil atmosphere made it the perfect getaway. A special thank you to Namal, Anurudda, Dinu, and the chef, who all went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their hospitality, attention to detail, and genuine care were outstanding. The food was just amazing. Every meal was delicious and beautifully prepared. We highly recommend Villa Le Maas Tota to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable escape.

I want to say that this place is very quiet and private. The view is absolutely beautiful. The villa itself is very nice and clean, with great staff and service. On the day we arrived, it was my birthday. The staff prepared the room with birthday decorations, and in the evening during dinner they brought us a cake with a candle. The dinner was tasty…maybe not exactly worth $20, but you could really see that the staff were trying their best and cared about the experience. The rooms are very cozy - there are bathrobes, loose leaf tea, coffee, a kettle, and a fridge. All bathroom amenities are provided as well. The room facilities were excellent and we had no complaints at all. This is truly a great place if you want to be alone with nature and relax in peace. I definitely recommend it.

We had a truly wonderful stay at Le Maas Tota Villa and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. The location is simply incredible, peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by beautifully maintained grounds and a private waterfall that make it feel like an oasis. It’s the perfect place to relax and unwind while still being close enough to explore the surrounding area. The food was a real highlight of our stay. Breakfast was fresh, flavourful, and thoughtfully prepared, with a great variety and wonderful location near the pool. Dining here felt like a special experience. Our room was lovely - clean, comfortable, and tastefully designed, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying our time. Overall, a fantastic stay with great food, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional service. We would absolutely come back.

The property was in a beautiful location and had a lovely infinity pool.

We booked a pottery activity that was supposed to last from 10 am till 3pm. It was supposed to be in a local village and the brochure suggested we would hear lots about pottery. It turned out to be a 15 min drive to a roadside pottery and barely any English spoken. It lasted about 45mins and then we were taken home. A total disappointment and nothing like what was advertised. The manager tried to guilt trip us into paying full for a short event.

the view is fabulous just like the photos. It is so nice that there is only a few people there at the one time so you often have the place all to yourself. The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to help us and make sure that everything was perfect. The food is fantastic and we highly recommend wish we could’ve stayed for longer.

The rooms could be updated and the pool was quite cold.

Very little - maybe a menu for smaller meals

We had a wonderful stay at this villa. When you step into the atrium, breathtaking views open up in front of you. The villa is located high on top of a hill, and the road leading there is winding and a bit challenging, but absolutely worth it for the views. We stayed in a corner room with stunning views all around. It’s a perfect place to relax and disconnect. Lunch and dinner are also available at the villa for 20$, which makes it very convenient to stay in and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.
