In a quiet area outside of town. Guido was very helpful with advice and good in all communications. He speaks excellent English. If you ask he will gladly show you and explain the (quite surprising and interesting) process of making Balsamic vinegar there at the property. He also gives advice on places to go and where to eat. We had the upstairs apartment and were lucky no one in the other bedroom so had the lounge area, terrace and balcony to ourselves as well; and the downstairs foyer lounge. I am guessing you could hire the two apartments and have that whole area. Bathroom and shower etc all good. The property grounds nicely maintained with some large trees (including a laden mulberry tree) sharing a nice outdoor area to sit (but beware mosquitos at dusk). ps the rooms have insect screens so that is good too.

Ceiling fan in the bedroom would be nice.

Only being able to stay one night

From the moment we arrived, this was an experience, much more than accommodation. Guido was a divine host who displayed passion for all that he does; family, balsamic vinegar, and the 'puppies', which is a true test of character. The recommendations that he provided were exceptional, and we were incredibly grateful for the care in providing a wonderful visit. Be sure to book ahead for a tour of the facilities, which is heartfelt and inspiring. We certainly hope to be able to visit again.

Our experience was amazing! First, this is a farm where balsamic vinegar is made. Therefore, it's a vineyard. Absolutely beautiful surroundings, the rooms look onto the farmland. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable. And the tour that Guido gives about how he makes his balsamic vinegar is super detailed and informative . My only regret is that I wish we had stayed an extra night. Also, the town nearby is beautiful and has some good restaurants. And one more thing: Guido helped us find tours for local cheeses and wines. Thank you so much!

Had a lovely stay at Guido's place. He has been very helpful, taking time to talk with us, giving us tips of things to do in Modena, taking time to make a visit to his production of traditional Balsamic Vinegar. The room was very big with a comfy bed and air conditioned. The house is surrounded by a nice garden.
