B&B VILLA PAOLIDA,ACETO BALSAMICO & Tastings

Our host, Guido was exceptional, probably the best we have had during our travels. He provided us with information on what to see and do, where to eat and to top it off, an extensive tasting and visit in his balsamic vinegar cellar. His home is extremely comfortable and spacious, easily accessible and everything we needed was provided. Breakfast in the original family dining room with lots of family photographs and chatting with Guido was highlight. It’s a large property with a comfortable outdoor lounge under market umbrellas. There’s grape vines and lawns to wander around. The Ferrari and Lamborghini museums and an excellent Reggiano Parmigiana tasting facility are very close by. A truly home away from home experience.

Guido was an exceptional host! He gave us everything to have a wonderful visit!

The location was near to many places that we wanted to visit. The rooms and dinners were an additional bonus!

Perfect location with perfect host! Guido will feel you welcome from the first minute. Location is great for exploring Modena and surroundings! Aceto Balsamico is just wow, book the full tour if time allows you!

Guido was most welcoming and the perfect host. Very comfortable room and the tour and explanation of his balsamic production facility was fascinating.

I recommend it with both hands. It has all the amenities, it is located in a convenient place between the nearby cities. The owner is an amazing person. Go and you will be satisfied.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Close to Modena and Bologna yet in the countryside so it is quiet. Guido is the perfect host. He makes an excellent cappuccino. The breakfast options were plentiful. Guido gave us an informative tour of his family’s traditional balsamic vinegar ACETAIA. I recommend this B and B to anyone looking for a place to stay outside of the cities yet still close enough for day trips to Ravenna, Modena, Bologna and Parma.

Guido was great, friendly and available whenever we needed something or had questions. He made sure we had water before heading out each day. He gave us a tour of his Balsamic making process which he is just as passionate about. The apartment was very nice on a lovely property in the countryside, only about 15-20 min from city of Modena. The town 2km away had everything we needed restaurants, grocery and shopping. The screened balcony made for a great area to read or hang out when it wasn't too hot outside. We also made good use of the sitting area on the main floor.

Mosquitos at night, Guido provided us with bug spray we forgot to bring some.
