Blue skies guest house and restaurant

A beautiful place with an even nicer owner. Superclean room.equipped with everything one needs. It was also super spacious which was great for the kids. The patio was great to relax. Moreover, the food of the attached restaurant was superb. Can recommend everyone to stay at blue skies!

My friend and I were delighted with the hospitality of the host and the beauty of the blue skies guest house and restaurant, we could truly relax and enjoy the incredible surroundings, especially the nearby beach which is absolutely beautiful (not crowded, very clean). Our host invited us to join other guests to have a Sri Lankan dinner cooked by his mother, it was the best food of our whole trip! He also gave us the opportunity to watch sea turtles lay eggs on the beach at night, guided by a friendly fisherman, all in all a great and recommendable experience, thanks for everything!

The room is huge with a good AC and nice bathroom. The beds were so good! Breakfast, lunch and dinner was very tasteful. We were with our young daughter so we walked to the beach, but would recommend a scooter rental.

Lovely guest house with a beautiful garden. Lots of wildlife visit the garden, including exotic birds and chipmunks. Suranga was a wonderful host, and helped us with whatever we needed during our stay. His food was amazing, particularly the traditional breakfast. We had curries made by his mother one evening and it’s the best meal we’ve had in Sri Lanka! Highly recommend this place if you are staying in Tangalle.

Loved staying here, definitely one of the best places I've stayed at during my four weeks in Sri Lanka. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Comfortable rooms, good WiFi, very close to the beach. Short tuk tuk ride away to view turtles laying their eggs at night.

A lovely guesthouse close to the beach. The rooms were big with good sized bathroom and comfortable bed. The owner helped to arrange tuk tuks and recommended places to go. A delicious breakfast in the morning too.

I had a wonderful time ! beautiful balcony , very privat , relaxed location next to the lake and 10 min walk from the beach , Lakma helped me with all what I needed !

Amazing guesthouse with a restaurant providing delicious food cooked at the moment using fresh ingredients. We stayed for one night and had our lunch, dinner and breakfast here. The place is very nice and located just 5 min walk from the beach. Suranga is a wonderful host, very friendly and helpful (he arranged for us a tuk tuk tour from Tangalle to Mirissa at a very fair price). The room was clean and comfy, with beautiful views of the garden, and it had A/C and mosquito net. Nice hot shower too. We would have stayed more days, thanks for everything Suranga!
