Very chilled ambience, fantastic home cooked food. Some pleasant walks in the surrounding area, down to the lagoon and beach.

A really nice place to stay for a few days. We had two nights but wished we had more. He has 4 rooms so book it in advance. A really relaxed place near the town but very quiet. easy to walk to the beach. We chose to hang out at the restaurant which has a really nice vibe. Very good food that the owner makes himself. The breakfast is also very nice. Next time we come we will make this our base. We had a perfect stay. My compliments to the owner.

Suranga was a great host and so interesting to talk to during all our evenings spent in his great restaurant at the entrance to the property. We had great breakfasts, with thick toast, and amazing tasty meals often different from the menu that you can order in the morning. Cold beer, good mojitos and nice music. We had the family room,tho only the two of us, and it was clean comfortable and with a great patio to sit on relaxing prior to going the nearby beach in the morning before breakfast and before heading to the restaurant in the evening. We stayed nine nights and loved our stay here.

Large and comfortable room in a very peaceful location. The owner Suranga was very helpful. He arranged scooter and onward taxi at good prices. A very relaxing stay.

Fabulous guesthouse near a beautiful wild beach. Super kind, attentive and thoughtful host. Rooms are clean, tidy and well maintained. Highly recommend.

Location is walk to sea, but through a resort.

Not quite like it seems on the pictures . Gate locked in evening so if you go out late for food you may disturb owner

Beautiful space, the garden and rooms are lovely - warm shower, clean, and you could tell the founders went the extra mile to make you feel at home and special! We had traditional Sri Lankan breakfast each morning, which was one of the best we’ve had so far on our trip! Suranga was a brilliant host, always accommodating and with the biggest smile. We were lent extra towels for the beach, and were also able to use the washing machine for our laundry; which was a real plus on our three week holiday. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Tangalle!
