Blue skies guest house and restaurant

We booked 3 nights and ended up staying 10 days. Beautiful surroundings, lovely garden perfect for relaxing in, and for our daughter to enjoy. Monkeys in the trees every morning. Amazing waking up to birds singing outside. The place is nice and simple. Rooms are very clean. Suranga, the owner was very kind and helpful. Plus, a great chef. We ate dinner a couple of times and loved it! And also, walking distance to a paradise beach and other local restaurants. Would definitely come back.

It had everything I care about for a stay: It's clean, comfortable beds, good facilities. Really big room to spread out. The bathroom is one of the best I've soon ol my whole trip in Sri Lanka! The host even has a restaurant I just didn't use because I was out all day long. It looked very nice, though:) Tip: To get to the beach just keep going down the road and walk through the resort at the end! You will be there in 5 min

Nice room with a big garden only 5min away from the beach. Loved the restaurant (delicious home-made food & breakfast!) and the big garden. Really nice decoration. Friendly and helpful host. Definitely recommend!

Everything was perfect, the room was clean and spacious and beautyful. The location was quiet but still close to the beach. One of the best value for money we had in Sri Lanka. We had a great time there :)

I have only wonderful things to say about staying here. First, Suranga is a welcoming and kind host who also cooks fantastic curry dishes; he puts so much heart into his home, and you feel the good vibes! Second, the room and balcony is clean, spacious, and very peaceful. Third, the beaches are within walking distance or a brief tuk tuk ride; the national parks are within a 1.5-2 hour drive, and Suranga can help you arrange a safari that picks up from his place. What I appreciate most about our stay is Suranga’s hospitality. I got very sick the day I arrived, and Suranga checked in regularly and directed me to a doctor to get the medications I needed. Suranga’s help (and home cooking!) and the homestay’s quiet space helped me fully recover.

A quiet, green, and cozy place with the most beautiful and picturesque Tangalle beach just a walk away. The accommodation was comfortable, with a nice restaurant, and a very welcoming and helpful host. The atmosphere there was very easy and relaxing.

The host was really welcoming and did a lovely job with the rooms. The food was authentic Sri Lankan. It's a nice quiet place with a lot of green and a lot of space. We felt at home and would always recommend this place to friends and family. Thanks!

Amazing small family run hotel. Extremely friendly service. Suranga one of the best host ever seen and great chief. Restaurant just perfect, great food for reasonable price. Booked for 3 night first but extended for 2 nights more. Highly recommend
