Lilac Garden Mirissa

Super schöne Apartments im Garten der Gastgeber. Man ist direkt am Strand und hat seinen Rückzug, umgeben von Grün. Die Gastgeber waren unfassbar freundlich und zuvorkommend. Haben uns regelmäßig Obst aus dem Garten geschenkt, sich sofort um alles mögliche gekümmert und uns eine Führung durch den Garten gegeben.

Direkt neben der Unterkunft liegt ein Bach, mit schwarzem, stinkendem Wasser, in dem sich sehr viel Müll staut. Gelegentlich kommt eine Brise von dem Gestank rübergezogen. Meistens riecht man es aber nur, wenn man die Unterkunft Richtung Strand verlässt.

Host was super nice and helpful, location is great, had a great stay here. Would love to come back some time!

The location is great: not right at the beach to be noisy and crowded, but just across the street from the beach, so going to swim took us 2 minutes. The room was exceptionally clean, AC worked perfectly. However, the highlight of the stay was the family - the gentlemen presented us with bananas and coconuts from his garden (by the way, you can spot a mongoose in the garden, and monkeys came to visit too!), and they took exceptional care of us overall.

The WiFi is challenging, it’s quite hard to catch it in the room. If you are planning to work remotely, I’d need to use a co-working space or share mobile data. Also, mosquitoes are carnivore in the area. I have not noticed anyone in Sri Lanka using mosquito nets on foot or window - but that might help to ventilate the room better, as it was impossible for us to keep the door or window open. AC and fan help, though. There is a bar on the beach with a “the louder the better” DJ, which of course nobody can help with - so if you are looking for a noise-free vacation, look for something far away from the beach.

Ubicació increïble a 10 segons de la platja. A prop de diversos restaurants. Família molt acollidora. No la vam fer servir però té una cuina bàsica. L'home de la casa ens va preparar un "king coconut" deliciós de benvinguda!

Friendly family and butiful place clean good location

The location is amazing, just a few steps from Mirissa beach. The room is set within a beautifully maintained garden, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The host was extremely kind and welcoming, it truly felt like being part of a family.

The furniture and bathroom are a bit dated, but everything was functional and clean.

The room and the bed is big and well equipped. There is a very nice garden. The family living next to the house is adorable. The location of the place is perfect. 2min walking to the beach.

Tolle Unterkunft in super Lage. Die Wohnung ist direkt gegenüber vom Strand gelegen und hatte alles was man gebraucht hat.

Das WLAN hat zum Teil nicht beziehungsweise nur sehr langsam funktioniert.
