"Comfortable stay with great hosts and particularly good breakfast"

Really friendly owners who made me feel welcome. Parking is close by. Breakfast was great (although only served 8.30-9am). Comfy bed. Quiet B&B and area so I felt very safe as a lone traveller.

Bathroom is shared for single rooms. Temperature a bit up and down, including shower.

"Great Weekend, Friendly Hosts, Great Hearty Breakfast, Location Superb"

The Landlady (Wendy) - was Brilliant - Never met Keith - but he made an absolutely Fantastic Breakfast. Private secure Parking was easy to find and only 2 minutes from the Property. Wendy is extremely knowledgeable of the area - walks and visitor attractions - Would definitely use Norwood next time we visit Ambleside Excellent Location

"Perfect little B&B in a beautiful location."

Hosts were exceptional, friendly and knowledgeable. Location was perfect, close to pubs, shops and restaurants and Ambleside and the surrounding area is beautiful, well worth a visit!

Can't be helped but the low sloping ceiling in the bedroom, if you are tall and forget!

"Superb"

Location was fantastic close to town centre Wendy was very attentive breakfast was amazing room was clean and comfortable

Carparking was a bit usual but at least we did have free parking in Ambleside so not really a complaint

"Great location, amazing breakfast."

The hotel was fantastic! The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of options to start the day right. The hostess was absolutely lovely—kind, welcoming, and full of great recommendations for local places to visit. Her warm attitude truly made the stay memorable. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was very enjoyable, plenty of choices and very well presented. The room was lovely and very comfortable. Location very handy for everything in town.
