Galaxy Sunrise Sea View

This place is really the worst I have ever been. It is maintained by Chinese and it is the dirtiest place I’ve ever been. They are not doing any cleaning, there is garbage everywhere and they just don’t care…They gave us a room where where was water everywhere with first rain and the only thing which they did was that put some towels on the floor. Also the “breakfast” was leftover food from previous dinner, old sousages and there was not even a water, cups, glasses or cutlery. The only good think is the location and the guy who should do the cleaning is trying somehow…

Very friendly and inviting, are very informative with events/ activities on the island.

we liked the nature and the natural beauty of the area. the beaches were beautiful. Only on this island were we able to see sharks and mataray. the diving was gorgous.

Clean, safe, ocean view

This was one of the worst accommodations I've ever been and nearly ruined our stay in Fulidhoo. The facilities are very run down, including water leaking from under the toilet and toxic black mold all over the shower. Barely any sound proofing; we could hear our neighbours and the hotel's washing machine running all night next to our room. The sea view was actually a view over a pile of garbage and people passing by on the street. You could see a patch of sea in the far distance, but you'd compromise your privacy for it. The other window led to the wall of a building 1 meter away, with the mentioned washing machine doing its rumble all day. The breakfast was poor and the eating area didn't feel hygienic at all, like the rest of the place. The vibe was unlike any Maldivian hotel we stayed. The place recently changed hands to a Chinese owner who runs it like a little dictatorship, with notes hanged on every wall stating silly rules and the corresponding fines for breaking them (dare you step inside with sandy feet or bring food into the room? pay a 50$ fine). This is unseen anywhere else we have been in the Maldives. They barely speak English and will make no effort to help. We mentioned how the room didn't match their ad on booking and he coldly told us to complain to Booking. All the friendly Maldivians we met in the island had reservations about this place. Avoid this place! Maldivians have high hospitality standards and any other hotel in the island will be a far more pleasant stay.
