- does have a family room, which is ok standard, apart from the molded sink and a damaged cupboard (see photos) - excellent wifi - Non management staff friendly, even though a bit shy and/or unable to speak english

- community area and outside restaurant area completely run down (see photos for an impression) - management ignores you unless you happen to be chinese. So dont expect any kind of service, not even an hello. - tea is not provided, even though otherwise stated in the room description - management has a weird obsession with formulating completely arbitrary fines for all kind of things (see photos). Dont worry however. Noone will talk to you anyway, no matter what you do. - does not accept credit card payment, which is a huge downside on an island with no ATM

The "Manager" was straight from the Horror Movie. No English at all. Not one word! He gave away the large and sunny room on the ground floor, that I have booked (Superior), right in front of me, to a young couple. The small dark room upstairs, with very steep flights of stairs (no railing), no elevator, was given to me, because he had no other rooms available. I showed him the picture from your website of the room that I booked and explained that I paid extra, for a nicer room. But he said: "no English," which was true. And just walked out on me. His assistant showed my with his hands that I won't get my money back. I've videotaped the whole interaction and made photos of the room and (dangerous) staircase. Available upon request. Although it'll take a while to download them all here, with an unreliable WiFi. Breakfast was terrible. Uneatable. The manager's attitude was horrific -- no exaggeration. The keys from the room I was stuck with, didn't work and I had to chase him every time I needed to leave the room and to come back to the room, which visibly bothered him immensely. I had to chase him and beg for a beach towel every day; then stand in the heat, and wait till he finishes his emails on his laptop (I videotaped that as well). That was humiliating. Every day. He also asked for extra money, cash, from me. I asked for a receipt. But he refused. I've asked for his name. And requested to be connected to the owner of the guesthouse. But got none. After that stay, I made reservations with other companies, instead of Booking.com, as I was thoroughly disappointed and startled by such a harsh reception. Because of this "Manager" alone, this place is UNSUITABLE for American tourists. We are unaccustomed to this quality of reception. I've complained to the Customer Service here, but got no response thus far.

For this "manager" to be fired. But I understand that may be unlikely, as he speaks Chinese (and Chinese only), and everyone in the hotel, except for me, was from China. The owner may be from China too. So, the Hotel should have had a disclaimer: We speak Chinese, but no English. At the very least, I request to be reimbursed for this horror movie of a stay. Never happened to me before. Never.

Perfect location on the beach. Outside is much better than inside. Comfortable bed and nice to have a small fridge in the room and enjoy fresh water all the time. Wi-fi was excellent.

The structure inside is bit old. The worse part of all my room was the bathroom: despite it was really big, the bath was out of service and the shower was terrible: doors broken,everywhere mold and limescale. The pressure of water was too low. During my stay we were not many guest, so they had arrange a small breakfast: eat part was acceptable, but there was no juice and no bag tea, just Nescafe. Furthermore the guy of breakfast was the whole time playing with his telephone in the kitchen making annoying noises.Basic breakfast. In general not worth for the money they ask.

The location is very good. The manager is very nice and friendly. Rooms are spacious-first floor bathroom need some renovation, the upstair rooms are good. The food of their restaurant is good & the price is reasonable. Generally, we had a good time there.

We stayed at the superior triple room with sea view, which was a nice room. The view from the room was amazing and we were lucky this was one of the newer rooms. Our friends stayed downstairs and their room was old and moldy. The location of the hotel is very nice, right next to the bikini beach.

The breakfast was very basic. The first days there was watermelon as fruit, the last few days there was no fruit at all. We always had to ask for extra toast and there were never enough glasses. The breakfast is till 9:00am, but if you arrive later than 8am, a lot of food is already finished. The food at their restaurant was ok, but way more expensive than other restaurants at the island.

The location is really good

The hotel recently changed management so the older reviews are not up to date. They told us there was a double booking when we arrived so we had to switch rooms during our stay which is not how it should be. The rooms downstairs are not in good condition (old, moldy, an old scarf as curtain, the toilet doesn't flush, bad smell in the bathroom, leaks in the room, ...) so I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
