Bodnant Guest House

The house was spotlessly clean and extremely comfortable. Thoughtful touches such as fresh fruit, biscuits and cold drinks together with board games for us all to play with the children. The breakfast was exceptional: well cooked using top quality ingredients, beautifully presented and served and with a good choice. Rooms were first class, with comfortable beds. Edward was a lovely host, friendly and helpful throughout. Highly recommended!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent three-night stay, and Edward was a truly exceptional host. He was incredibly accommodating, and no request seemed to be too much trouble. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras, such as the provided snacks and beverages. The room was well-appointed, spacious, and impeccably maintained. The breakfast, featuring high-quality fresh ingredients, was one of the nicest we have experienced in any hotel or guesthouse.

Property was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Everything was catered for. There was free snacks- fruit, crisps, biscuits, sweets, and juice. Fresh milk is always available and there’s a fridge you can put your own food in. Tea and cafetière plus chocolates, biscuits etc in the room. The location is perfect- a short walk from centre and beach but far enough that it’s nice and quiet. Beds are soft and comfortable. All toiletries are provided shower gel etc, flannels, towels. Breakfast is delicious and whatever preference you have is catered to. Lots of tourist info provided. Parking at front of property. Games and books available to use. Edward (owner) is an absolute treasure, kind friendly and attentive, can’t do enough for you. He really makes it a special stay. We will definitely be back for another visit!!

Nothing, it was perfect!!

The location being 5 mins walk from the station, and 10 - 15 mins from the promenade was excellent. There were parking spaces on the front driveway if you're going by car. I was in a single second floor room and the headroom was a bit low in one place, but with my height of 5' 10'' it was acceptable. The private bathroom with toilet and washbasin was separate on the adjacent landing and while the bath had taps and controls for the shower there was no shower screen. There was also a washbasin in the bedroom. There was a wide choice of items for the full cooked breakfast which was well cooked and presented. With the host (Edward) it was service with a smile and he couldn't have been more helpful.

The only inconvenience was that the bath plug didn't seem to fit properly, and there was no shower screen or shower currtain.

Edward the host was simply excellent, not just for the physical environment of the the hotel, but also for his welcoming and accommodating nature; he was so helpful with everything, and nothing was too much trouble. Location excellent: five min walk to railway station, and ten mins to town centre - near enough to be near, but far enough to be away from the hussle and bustle. The hotel is located in a quiet and pleasant area of the town.

Everything. What a super guest house, which I would highly recommend. Nothing was too much trouble for our delightful host. He's clearly given a lot of thought to what his guests need and made sure he's provided for them.
