HI Pigeon Point Lighthouse Hostel

Staff is all top flight, better than at the finest hotels. Setting is amazing. Had a magical time!

Amazing views and history. We stayed in the seal house and were lucky to be the only guests there that night so we had the whole place to ourselves. The couches were very comfortable and the common areas were spacious. Beds pretty comfortable, too. The woman at the front desk was also kind enough to let our son access the piano in the other guesthouse, which was a treat, despite some missing notes and keys. We’d love to come back in a few years when the lighthouse is restored to its former glory. Btw construction noise was minimal during our stay.

It’s not the lap of luxury and the facilities are a little tired, but where else could you stay on the pacific coast for such low prices and get so much value?! Unfortunately, the hot tub was not available the night we stayed.

The room was okay. The view was not much as the lighthouse is under rehabilitation so the view was a fence. But outside the blilding the view of the ocean was amazing.

Did not have a hair dryer which is essential for me to wash my hair. Even one that is permanently attached to the wall would have been better than nothing.

I have never stayed at a Hostel before. It blew my expectations in every way. I will definitely come back and explore other options in my area. I could not be happier.

Parking was tricky, it’s part of the visitor area so you might have to move it closer later.

The location is exceptional, the views are amazing. There is a big kitchen and a big lounge with everything you need, to share among three rooms. They also have a hot tub open till late :)

Only one shower and toilet for three rooms.
