Friendly owner, clean and spacious room with daylight

The bed was extremely hard and the air conditioner noisy. Defective air conditioners can happen, nevermind, but the mattress is a torture device.

The room was huge, fresh and clean. We were able to park our car on the property, undercover and safely. The owner was helpful, friendly and happy. We found local restaurants and a 7-Eleven close by. The surrounding area was quiet and we slept peacefully. The air conditioning worked well. The bathroom was large and the shower had good water pressure.

Lovely spacious clean room. The fridge was also nice and big. Nice building close to a 7-Eleven and other shops/restaurants. Easily walkable to the centre of Chiang Mai and lots of other places. The owners were very friendly and organised a tour for us when we told them what we were looking to do.

Good value, homely place. Free use of bicycles.

The cool daylight lightbulbs are very common in Thailand, but just one warm light really makes a difference in ambiance.

Krong and Russell are very kind and always willing to help. The communication was always polite and they made sure we had everything we needed for our 11-day stay. The room we first got wasn't great, there was very little light and the bathroom didn't have hot water so they moved us into another room that was better. We found the towels and bed lining a bit worn out (they changed our towels almost every day) which is in my opinion not ideal. The overall cleaningness could also be improved particularly in the bathroom and shower. The surrounding area is not within the "tourist zone" which is fine if you are willing to walk 15/20 minutes to reach the city center. Overall it's a good place for a couple of nights but not ideal for an extended period.

The bathroom shower and the room in general need to be cleaned deeper. Maybe changing the bed sheets and towels once they are too old would also make a big difference in the perception of cleanliness.
