The location was good, and the space as well.

The location was good. However, behind the couch was dirty with trash, the same under the beds. Noisy, and outside the place a lot of trash. I was charged 40 dollars for cleaness. That was an abuse.

The efforts of Thang were remarkable in order to try to make it as comfortable as possible for us.

The host is great but the unit is in really very bad shape and in my opinion with respect to the following points: : 1. It is a basement unit, poorly maintained, very humid and hot. The AC unit is not effective and there is no thermostat in the unit to manage the AC 2. There are several small wholes in the unit that are potential source of insect infestation. Consequently I encountered with crawling spiders and flying mosquitos. 3. The back bedroom door lock was found broken and not working. Also doors don’t have any stopper snd consequently door handle marks are on the wall all over in the unit. 4. The living area has no vent for AC and remained very hot throughout the night. 5. The thermostat are not there in the unit and is controlled upstairs by the host. 6. Most doors has broken/damaged with falling moldings. None has any door stoppers. 7. The unit has no Kitchenette or cooking range. 8. Smoke alarms were taken out. Considering all the above, I found the unit is not safe to stay and it should not be on booking com listing. I trusted booking com must have surveyed the unit but that was certainly not the case. Overall I felt I was misinformed and the unit was not in livable condition.

The basement apartment was conveniently located; the host was very friendly and accommodating; the apartment was spacious and met our needs. Everything was great!

Terrible place. The access and the entrance is the same gate of hell. Full of huge rats, homeless, drug addicts approaching us for cigarettes and money, garbage in unbelievable quantities lying all over. Inside, the place is filled with rust, stains, walls covering pipes completely loosen, the heating system of the building is one of the doors inside the place. I wouldn't bring my worst enemy to this joint, let alone my family. I've booked a hotel and demand a refund from this hellish place. the surprise is that Booking.com response is “There’s noting we can do”. We arrived at night and did not dare to go out again. We close everything tight and we literally ran 6am from there, in spite we booked for 2 nights. I have pictures of everything to prove to booking and make my case. I’ve been booking with this brand for years and I’m level 2 genius, but I can’t accept that you allow places like this to be offered thru this platform.
